Your LivTours golf cart tour of Rome begins at a convenient location in the heart of the city, Piazza della Repubblica. Following a brief introduction to the city with your guide, you will board your golf cart, securely fasten your seatbelt, and embark on a tour filled with remarkable landmarks. There’s no need to reference Google Maps; simply relax and enjoy the captivating stories and insights as you explore Rome’s iconic sites. Your guide will make stops at key locations, providing you with opportunities to capture photos.

During the tour, you will learn about the beautiful Piazza della Repubblica and have the chance to see a church designed by Michelangelo, located on a nearby side street—a hidden gem often overlooked by travelers. Not far from Via Cavour, you will encounter the impressive historic Imperial Forum. Listen to fascinating narratives about Palatine Hill, which was once a prominent residential area for political figures in the Roman Empire. Next, you will visit the Colosseum, the site where the notorious Emperor Nero hosted his famous chariot races.

You will then explore the historic center of Rome, strolling along cobblestone streets to visit some of the city’s most renowned areas, such as Piazza Navona. After crossing the Tiber River, you will ascend Janiculum Hill to enjoy breathtaking views of the entire city.

Finally, you will make your way back to the city center to see the famous Pantheon and the iconic Spanish Steps.

  • LARGER PARTIES: Please bear in mind that Golf Carts come in different sizes, but the maximum size will seat 8 people, including the guide.  This simply means that for larger parties, you may be split into two carts. It obviously means that we will hire, with no additional cost, a driver who will be responsible for the second cart (don’t worry, you don’t have to drive in Roman traffic!). The tour will still be led by the tour guide driving the first cart who will make sure that information and entertainment is delivered efficiently to both carts.

  • Unforgettable tour of Rome!

    Our private golf cart tour of Rome with LIV Tours was a highlight of our trip! Our guide, Sean, did a fantastic job, tailoring the 3-hour tour (6:00–9:00 PM) to our interests. I highly recommend this evening time slot, as the cooler temperatures made it much more comfortable compared to the heat of the day. He showed us secret spots, harder-to-reach locations, and top sites, making it feel like a truly personalized experience. Having already walked to many attractions, it was great to revisit some without the long treks and explore new, distant places. Sean even took us to an amazing gelato spot we hadn’t tried, which was a delightful treat! He also acted as our personal photographer, capturing wonderful moments throughout the tour. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute, and Sean’s enthusiasm made it unforgettable. Dropping us off right at our hotel was the perfect touch. I highly recommend this tour with LIV Tours—whether to start or end your Rome visit, it’s a fun, comfortable, and memorable way to see the city!

  • Fun and Easy way to see Rome

    We did a 3-hour golf cart tour of Rome and had the best time! Our driver, Luca, was fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He took us to all the major highlights around the city and gave us just the right amount of history and stories without it feeling like a lecture. Pickup was a breeze from the meeting point, and the golf cart was such a fun and easy way to get around without all the walking (especially great in the heat or for anyone who wants to cover a lot of ground in a short time). This was one of the best things we did in Rome to see it all quickly—10/10 recommend if you want to see a lot, learn a bit, and have a great time doing it!
