Must do, especially if you’re short on time!
This was a perfect overview of the city. We had a toddler with us and would never have made it to all the sites with a stroller. Would be perfect for families and people who cannot walk long distances too. The golf cart came equipped with a car seat which was a pleasant surprise - toddler even fell asleep in it. Our guide John was very knowledgeable. He even catered the tour to focus on sites where we didn’t already have a tour scheduled! Would do again.
- EulaLoved our private golf tour!
We took a private gold tour of Rome in February 2025 with our guide, John, and had an awesome time! John was SUPER informative, friendly, and transported us around Rome safely. I'm glad I mentioned that our toddler would be with us when booking because a car seat was provided for our tour. This was a great tour and allowed us to see + learn about some great highlights in Rome. We did this on our first full day in Rome and it also gave us great ideas of things we wanted to go back, see more of, and maybe things we were okay just seeing from the cart. Would highly recommend booking this tour with LivTours and would book tours with LivTours again.

Brando was utterly fantastic! Everyone that I have recommended to have said the same thing, loved his tour. He takes the tour to off the beaten and normally unseen places. Book with Brando, you won't be disappointed.
- Pamela LittonExcellent Overview Tour
Alessandro was an excellent guide. He gave us the perfect mix of historical background and great views! He was more than willing to tailor to tour to what we wanted and took us to a great spot for a lunch to go and for gelato. Truly enjoyable!
- Colleen GradyGreat way to see Rome
We had a nice golf cart tour for our family of 5. It was a great way to see many highlights of Rome without having to navigate the streets on our own. Our guide was happy to stop for us to take pictures and he offered to take us to a gelato shop but we were so jetlagged that we just wanted to stay in the cart and out of the sun. I didn't realize that most of the streets in Rome are paved in cobblestones so much of the ride was very bumpy. Just keep that in mind if you get carsick, etc.
- SusanFun and Efficient
A golf cart tour is the perfect way to explore Rome nowadays. We spent a very enjoyable and informative afternoon with Matteo. He inquired about our interests and ensured we visited all the sites we were interested in. Choosing the private tour gave us the flexibility we wanted. We would definitely do it again!
- EvanFirst Day in Rome
Our first day in Rome was fantastic, and this tour provided a wonderful overview of the city. Christiano's extensive knowledge of history was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed his personable and engaging manner. The only downside for us, as 4 adults, was having two people ride backward. It made it hard for them to follow along and see the sites as we approached while receiving the descriptions. However, it seems that the children in other carts enjoyed sitting backward. We visited all the major sites we wanted to see and received excellent background information. We highly recommend this tour!

Luca is the best. He listened to us, heard where we had been , and understood what we wanted to see. With this info Luca put together a fantastic tour. I can't recommend him enough.
- Fritz WeethBest tour
Our family had a great time with our tour guide Riccardo. He tailored the tour to what we wanted since we already saw some sights. He also added some cool places I would have never visited that I never heard of. He was knowledgeable about the history of the sights. I would highly recommend doing to private tour.
- VanessaTwo Perfect Family Tours in Rome!
What memorable experiences! After reading various travel blogs, I chose to book LivItaly tours based on their “family-friendly” approach, and they exceeded any and all expectations! We traveled with two toddlers and two parents, opting for private family tours. We started with a Rome Golf Cart tour and had so much fun with our guide, Andy. This was a perfect solution for showing my kids and parents as much of the city as possible, while eliminating much of the walking that they wouldn’t have been able to do. We saw everything I’d hoped to see and more. The cart itself was new, clean and I very much appreciated that it had car seats for my kids and seatbelts for us. (We’d done a similar tour elsewhere and we constantly felt like we were going to fall out!) I can’t say enough great things about Andy. He was so friendly, informative and accommodating – both with my kids and more impressively, by routing the tour so we’d end right in front of our lodging – what a bonus that was. We were so impressed with his vast knowledge – while driving – while joking with our kids. It was all so fun, and such a great introduction to the city. Certainly a highlight of our overall trip. I simply cannot recommend this tour enough.
