Private Rome Golf Cart Tour

This review is late but wanted to make sure to complete it. Luca was a fantastic tour guide! Such a fun introduction to Rome for me and my family. I highly recommend doing this tour.

Fun and Easy way to see Rome

We did a 3-hour golf cart tour of Rome and had the best time! Our driver, Luca, was fantastic—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. He took us to all the major highlights around the city and gave us just the right amount of history and stories without it feeling like a lecture. Pickup was a breeze from the meeting point, and the golf cart was such a fun and easy way to get around without all the walking (especially great in the heat or for anyone who wants to cover a lot of ground in a short time). This was one of the best things we did in Rome to see it all quickly—10/10 recommend if you want to see a lot, learn a bit, and have a great time doing it!

The best way for an Ancient Rome overview

We zipped through the crowds on the golf cart for a comprehensive review of the ancient sights of Rome. Alice knows her way around (she is a Roman) and not only gives you the highlights of each spot but tells you the ones that are a must see on a return visit on foot on our own. There were three generations of us (6) in the cart and the grandparents (me) and the grandchildren could not have walked all of it, and would not want to. Also the difference of being in the comfortable large open air golf cart in terms of visibility was fantastic. No comparison with getting in and out of a bus or car. Alice also dropped us off at one of her favorite restaurants at the end of the tour and it was our best meal of the trip so far. This was a place filled with locals, not tourists and it was amazing. This was a great and memorable experience.

Wonderful introduction to Rome & great tour guide!

My wife and I had been to Rome before, but for the other 5 family members it was their first visit. Would highly recommend this tour regardless as it was a wonderful experience, made so largely by our tour guide, Brando! With a degree in history, he could relate incredible detail on the sites, proved to be an extremely skilled driver and just made it a truly fun experience. Thank you!

Great trip!

We had Xander as our guide and we had an amazing trip! Very knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. This was our first day in rome, so we had a ton of Questions. Would definitely use him again!

Great way to easily see main sights

The golf cart tour was a great way to easily see all the main sights throughout Rome. I travelled with my 80 year old mother, and this is the only way we could have seen everything in the amount of time we had. It gave her a great overview of the city without requiring a lot of walking she couldn’t have handled. John was very friendly and able to tailor the tour to our interests.

It was a very informative tour. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and helpful. He took us to all the historic places and gave was many facts and stories. We would definitely book with Francesco71 again.

Memorable tour of Rome - Emanuele was a fabulous guide, very knowledgeable and fun

Great tour, highly recommend. We had Emanuele and he really made our tour very memorable. He was extremely knowledgeable, a lot of fun, and we were able to take some great photos also. With only a very short time in Rome, this tour was perfect to obtain a fantastic overview of the city, some excellent history and knowledge and all whilst having fun along the way. We were travelling as a family of 4, including 2 teenage girls and we all really enjoyed the time spent - Emanuele was great, thank you - it's a must do whilst in Rome, especially if short on time.

Amazing start to a vacation

This was the PERFECT way to start our vacation. We landed in Rome around noon and didn't want to go to bed after a long flight from the US, so I booked us on a golf cart tour to keep us awake and show us around the city. Best. Decision. Ever. We got to see the highlights of the city while not having to worry about how to get there, if we would get lost, trying to figure out what we were seeing. Our tour guide, Alexandra, took care of all of that for us. She asked us what major things we wanted to see, we warned her we had literally JUST gotten off an airplane, so we may not be the most awake we could be if it was a normal day. Alexandra took wonderful photos of us the entire time (because we wanted them, but were just too tired to do it ourselves!) and made sure to have a gelato stop fit in the tour because the kids were dying for some authentic gelato the moment we landed. I highly recommend doing this tour the day you arrive. It doesn't involve thinking (other than oh my goodness am I really here, this is so amazing) and your guide will make sure you stay awake long enough to combat the jet leg that is trying to get you from those time zone changes.

Great Introduction to Rome

We booked a private golf cart tour as the very first thing we were doing on our 5 day visit to Rome to best orient our selves to the city. I was traveling with my 11 year old and my mom in her late 60's so we had a lot of different interests and needs and Patrizio navigated making it fun and interesting for all of us. This tour matched all of our expectations of introducing us to Rome and checked off a couple of boxes of things we didn't need to go back to after and also showed us a few things that we then knew we wanted to go back to see in more depth. Patrizio is a total gem and I would have done more tours with him.
