The tour begins at the beautiful Piazza della Repubblica where you will meet your expert, family-friendly private guide. From here, you’ll hop onto your eco-friendly, very comfortable golf cart and off you go! This tour is a fantastic way to see all of the major sites of Rome, in just three hours (instead of three days!) A golf cart is also a really fun way to get about the city, cutting through traffic, stopping at famous sites, and hidden gems, and getting up those famous hills for some amazing panoramic views over the Eternal City.
We provide an engaging LivTours activity booklet for kids with our character Liv to take the kids on an adventure around the city. It is packed with quizzes, interesting facts and educational games. You’ll learn how the Gladiators washed themselves, how to match up the Greek and Roman gods and goddesses and have fun drawing Charioteers in the Circus Maximus.
Your specialist guide will ensure you see and experience Rome’s biggest monuments and hidden gems: from the outside of the Colosseum, the famous Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Spanish Steps, and even the place where Julius Caesar was assassinated! You’ll also drive down quaint cobbled streets, and whizz effortlessly up Rome’s famous hills like Trastevere’s Janiculum Hill, where you’ll be “wowed” by those breathtaking 360 degree panoramic views over the city.
This is an interactive, fun, family-friendly tour around Rome. Traveling by golf cart allows you to cover in three hours what could take you a few days on foot. At the end of the tour, there are of course prizes for the kids after a job well done!

- LARGER PARTIES: Please bear in mind that Golf Carts come in different sizes, but the maximum size will seat 8 people, including the guide. This simply means that for larger parties, you may be split into two carts. It obviously means that we will hire, with no additional cost, a driver who will be responsible for the second cart (don’t worry, you don’t have to drive in Roman traffic!). The tour will still be led by the tour guide driving the first cart who will make sure that information and entertainment is delivered efficiently to both carts.
- This activity booklet is designed for children from ages 5 – 10 years old and is perfect for mixed age families.
- The interactive children’s booklets are only made in English.
