Great Overview of the City
We booked this tour at the last minute and were pleasantly satisfied with the service received. Xander, our guide zipped through the city in golf cart and did an amazing job in explaining the history and the sites. The highlight of the trip was certainly the gelato stop which our kids really enjoyed. Having a knowledgeable guide makes a big difference. Recommend this golf cart tour!!
- Naved KhanGelato, Gladiators, and Great Stories
Our kids are still talking about racing chariots at Circus Maximus. The booklet was fun, but honestly, it was our guide Luca’s humor that made the tour so memorable. The gelato stop at the end sealed the deal—this tour is a must for families.
- Michael BrownQuick, Comfortable, and Memorable
Traveling with a bad knee, I was worried about sightseeing in Rome. The golf cart was the perfect solution—it was smooth, comfortable, and got us everywhere with no stress. My favorite stop was Piazza Navona, where our guide Davide painted such a vivid picture of ancient life.
- Teresa LopezEntertaining for Adults Too
Even without kids, we had a blast. Our guide Giulia mixed in historical facts with fun anecdotes, like how Romans used to eat at banquets. The Colosseum and Trevi Fountain were obvious highlights, but discovering Largo Argentina, where Caesar was killed, gave the day real depth.
- Paul SimmonsA Perfect Start to Rome
We booked this on our first morning in Rome, and it was the best decision. It gave us an overview of the city and helped us decide what to revisit later. Marco was witty, full of energy, and managed to squeeze in so much in just a few hours.
- Olivia ChenFrom Skeptic to Super Fan
I wasn’t sure how a golf cart could possibly deliver the “real Rome,” but LivTours proved me wrong. Seeing the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Navona all in one morning without exhaustion was priceless. Marco’s storytelling had just the right amount of humor to keep it fun.
- Steven CarterBest Use of Our Limited Time
We were only in Rome for a day before our cruise, and this was the ideal way to cover the highlights. Our guide, Luca, got us front-row views at the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain without wasting time in crowds. I loved hearing quirky facts, like how gladiators washed!
- Emily HughesEngaging from Start to Finish
Elena was an absolute delight—warm, knowledgeable, and great with our kids. The booklet made the learning interactive, but it was her stories that really stuck. The Spanish Steps stop was unexpectedly fun, and the gelato at the end was the perfect family treat.
- Mark SandersRome at Our Fingertips
As a couple traveling without kids, we still loved the family-friendly vibe. The pace was easygoing, and we learned fascinating tidbits about Caesar’s last moments and the Pantheon’s dome. Cruising down cobblestone streets in the golf cart felt like a VIP experience.
- Julia WeberSmooth, Fun, and Educational
Our tour guide, Chiara, had such a warm personality that my usually-shy daughter felt comfortable asking questions. We saw so many major landmarks without breaking a sweat, and the panoramic view from Janiculum Hill was jaw-dropping. The kids are still talking about the “Mouth of Truth”!
