Gladiator School Experience for Kids
Add the incredible experience offered by the Official Gladiator School on the Appian Way. The experience includes a visit to the Gladiator Museum and a hands-on training of the fighting techniques of ancient gladiators in a reconstructed ludus magni arena. Includes roundtrip transfer. NOTE: Add-on duration is 3-4 hours in total, 2 hour gladiator school, and 1-2 hour return transport (>30 minutes each way). Please note: gladiator school experiences are available in the afternoon only, therefore, depending on the time of your tour, you may have a break to enjoy lunch explore the city between your tour and your Gladiator booking. In such cases, our operations team will advise you on a time and convenient place to meet your chauffeur.

    Our private tour with Gigi was amazing. She was on time, knowledgeable, kind and had a great handle on the English Language. She even took the time to find a wheelchair for an elderly relative in our group. Gigi had a sound understanding of Roman history and was able to answer all questions. She even had an iPad that was very useful to understand how it used to look. I highly recommend Gigi and look forward to booking with LivTours again.

    Thank you so much to Liv Tours and huge thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Elisa, for the wonderful private tour of the Colosseum and the Forum. When my husband fractured his leg literally days before we were due to make our trip to Naples and Rome, we thought that our sightseeing tours would be ruined. Liv Tours came to our rescue and with an upgrade to a private tour, we were able to make the most of our time at the Colosseum and the Ancient City. Our guide, Elisa, was incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic to our situation, amusing, enthusiastic and helpful in every way to make the ancient world of the Romans come to life for us. Our 13-year-old son was engaged the whole way round (Bravo - no mean feat!) and we found our way around relatively easily with the wheelchair and crutches. These small group and private tours are really very well organised and there was great communication throughout. I would recommend Liv Tours to anyone visiting Italy.
