We took a private guided tour with Luciana for the Colosseum and Palatine hill. Luciana was friendly, engaging and very happy to answer any questions. It was fantastic just to have her to ourselves. She paced the tour really well for us, stopping whenever we wanted for more information and photos. Highly recommend.

Simply amazing!

Our private tour with Gigi was amazing. She was on time, knowledgeable, kind and had a great handle on the English Language. She even took the time to find a wheelchair for an elderly relative in our group. Gigi had a sound understanding of Roman history and was able to answer all questions. She even had an iPad that was very useful to understand how it used to look. I highly recommend Gigi and look forward to booking with LivTours again.

When my husband fractured his leg literally days before we were due to make our trip to Naples and Rome, we thought that our sightseeing tours would be ruined. Liv Tours came to our rescue and with an upgrade to a private tour, we were able to make the most of our time at the Colosseum and the Ancient City. Our guide, Elisa, was incredibly knowledgeable, empathetic to our situation, amusing, enthusiastic and helpful in every way to make the ancient world of the Romans come to life for us. Our 13-year-old son was engaged the whole way round (Bravo - no mean feat!) and we found our way around relatively easily with the wheelchair and crutches. These small group and private tours are really very well organised and there was great communication throughout. I would recommend Liv Tours to anyone visiting Italy.

My husband and I were so happy that we'd booked a tour to see the Colosseum and ancient part of the city. There is so much to learn about and to comprehend that we would not have had such a fulfilling experience if we had tried to go on our own or in a larger group tour. We felt very exclusive with our private guide, Luca, who along with being very professional and knowledgeable, was completely dedicated to making the day unforgettable for us! Unforgettable experience for all ages

We were in Rome this past spring with our two granddaughters (age 8 and 10). We booked the Colosseum and ancient Rome tour with LivItaly because of the many good reviews and comments regarding family-friendly tours and tour guides. After our experience, we are happy to add our high rating to the list. The girls loved the tour and especially our guide, Davide, who knew just what would be interesting to them and how to present it to them. That's not to say that my husband and I didn't have a great time as well! We all learned so much and will remember this tour and Davide for many years to come. Great job, LivItaly!

Very impressive tour and tour guide

I'm not a big tour person but I must admit, I was very impressed with the Colosseum and Roman Forum tour my wife booked for us. We had a very expert guide named Giulia who not only knew exactly how many facts and figures to throw at us but also when to slow things down or move things along. She molded the tour to our interests and abilities, always with a smile and a kind word. It was very easy to become quite friendly with her during the tour and we were actually sorry when the tour was over. Definitely a great experience.

Can't wait to return to Rome

While in Rome for a day on business, my colleague and I decided to book this tour. I mean, how can you come to Rome and not see the Colosseum, right?? Wow, were we impressed -- and not just with what we were seeing but with the knowledge and enthusiasm that our guide, Luca, displayed! Knowing of our time limitations, he molded the tour and the pace around our needs. We went away with memories of an awesome experience and the desire to come back to Rome ASAP! Thanks Luca!

Greatest tour

There are many advantages to taking this private tour: no lines to wait in, no annoying headsets to have to use, no need to elbow your way through the crowds, no problem hearing the guide or asking as many questions as you want, no problems with rest stops or bathroom stops or with having to keep pace that was either too fast or too slow, plenty of time to take pictures and in special spots that our guide showed us and, best of all, plenty of laughs and entertainment from a guide that obviously enjoys what he is doing. In short, a fantastic experience!
