Your Sagrada Familia semi-private group tour begins with a meet and greet just next to the basilica. There, you will be able to take advantage of the unobstructed view of Gaudi’s creation. Your guide will share the history behind this architectural wonder, Gaudi’s life, and his inspirations.
Wanting to share the story of the Bible with his fellow citizens, Gaudi made the bold move of depicting its stories on the façades of Sagrada Familia. The side facing east, illustrates the Birth of Christ and his 33 years of life on Earth. The opposite façade shows the 12 Stations of the Cross and Christ’s ascension into Heaven. Facing the south is the yet-to-be-decorated façade that will show the Final Judgment and the Glory of God.
Once inside, enjoy the glory of its awe-inspiring interior and its soaring ceilings. Be prepared to be captivated by the expressive architecture which was designed to simulate a forest – a place of nature where Gaudi felt closest to God. See the light beaming through the colorful stained glass windows and feel the atmosphere of the enchanted forest made of stone.
Places of worship have strict dress code requirements for entry. All participants are required to have shoulders and knees covered (no tank tops or short dresses) to enter.

All LivTours Semi-Private Group Tours are limited to 6 guests per tour guide. Our commitment to maintaining our uniquely tiny group sizes can sometimes be a little tricky, mathematically speaking. For example, we want to ensure that traveling families and friends can tour together so on rare occasions we may add one or two guests in order to not split groups. On that same note, you may also find yourself on tour with less than six people! We thank you for your understanding and flexibility.
We were on a LivTour with our guide Marc on a hot Barcelona afternoon. Marc was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the Basilica and its history and architecture. Spent a great amount of time explaining the front of the Basilica and Gaudi's intention for all the artwork. Incredible. He took us into a few areas that normally you would not see on your own. Marc was also very conscience of the heat and would move to shade as much as possible. The inside is incredible!! Don't forget to see the schoolhouse if possible. You can cool off as well.

Sagrada Familia Tour!
We had an excellent guide for our semi-private tour of the Sagrada Familia. Only four of us were there, although we didn't get a great view from the nearby building. The church has many fascinating features both inside and out that we would have missed without a guide.

Informative tour through a beautiful place
I went on the La Sagrada Familia tour and I was blown away by how awesome the location was and how interesting the tour was. Olga was our guide and she exceeded the high standard that LivTours sets for their guides. My wife and I have gone on multiple tours with LivTours in the last 5 years and we cannot recommend this company enough…and Olga really impressed us with how much information she knew about the La Sagrada Familia and she had such a welcoming attitude and energy!

A Great Afternoon at the Sagrada Familia.
Olga was an awesome tour guide: she made the tour very intriguing and she was very nice and excited to share her knowledge with us. Our group ended up to be just my wife and I, but her excited and knowledge made the afternoon perfect.

Above and Beyond
I was unable to make the tour because I woke up sick, but my daughter was excited to go and still went. The tour guide was Olga, and she went above and beyond to by taking pictures that my daughter could send to me, as well as give us many recommendations for dinner! I was very happy and impressed that she still tried to make me feel apart of the tour even though I was not there! I highly recommend this tour!
