A Delicious Roman Afternoon
The cooking class with LivTours was one of the best parts of our Rome trip. From the bubbly Prosecco welcome to rolling out fresh pasta with Chef Andrea, every detail felt thoughtful. Making tiramisù from scratch was surprisingly simple, and eating it with a glass of wine afterward made it even better. I loved that the class was small, so we had time to ask questions.
- Amanda CollinsCooking Like a Local
We joined this semi-private class as a family with two teenagers, and it was a highlight for them. They especially enjoyed making the fettuccine from scratch – flour was everywhere, but in the best way! The chefs had such patience, guiding each of us through the steps and explaining the traditions behind the recipes. The limoncello at the end was the perfect finish.
- Richard McKenzieA Perfect Balance of Fun and Flavor
I booked this cooking class solo, and it never once felt awkward. The small group size meant I got to meet wonderful people while learning real Italian techniques. The Alfredo sauce, just butter and Parmigiano, was a revelation – so creamy without being heavy. I’ve already recreated the recipe at home thanks to the digital booklet!
- Claire MatthewsFrom Prosecco to Limoncello – Perfection!
This experience captured everything I love about Italy: food, laughter, and togetherness. Our instructor was warm and engaging, making us feel instantly at home. Rolling out pasta dough was surprisingly therapeutic, and assembling tiramisù was the cherry on top. Sharing the meal with a glass of wine felt like dining with new friends.
- Daniel OrtizOur Kids Became Mini Chefs
Traveling with an 11- and 14-year-old, we were unsure if they’d enjoy a cooking class, but LivTours made it fantastic for them. The chefs gave them their own workstations and encouraged them throughout. They proudly ate “their” pasta at the end. Watching their confidence grow in just a few hours was priceless.
- Sarah JenningsMemories Made in Rome
My husband and I booked this class to celebrate our anniversary, and it exceeded expectations. The aperitivo of cheeses and olives felt very Roman, and the Prosecco welcome was a lovely touch. I especially loved how Chef Andrea explained why Italian sauces are often so simple. Our tiramisù was the perfect dessert to share.
- Michelle TranA MasterChef Experience
The fact that our instructor had appeared on MasterChef Italia made the whole event even more exciting. She balanced professionalism with humor, making the class approachable for everyone. I left not only full but also inspired to cook more at home. The recipe booklet is beautifully organized and practical.
- Gregory HarrisHands-On and Heartfelt
LivTours really knows how to create an intimate and fun environment. There were just six of us in the class, so it felt personal and relaxed. The highlight for me was learning to shape fettuccine properly – much trickier than it looks! Ending the evening with limoncello made us feel truly Italian.
- Emma RichardsonBest Cooking Class I’ve Ever Taken
I’ve done cooking classes in France and Spain, but this one in Rome was my favorite. Everything was top-quality: the ingredients, the tools, and especially our instructor Chiara. She taught us the little tricks that make all the difference, like how to whisk eggs for tiramisù without deflating them. I can’t recommend this enough.
- James WilsonDelicious Learning for the Whole Family
We came with our college-age daughter and her boyfriend, and everyone loved it. The atmosphere was lighthearted, but we genuinely learned authentic techniques. Sitting together at the table afterward, tasting the pasta we had just made, was unforgettable. It felt like a celebration more than a class.
