London Comes Alive with the Right Guide

What impressed me most was how our guide connected major historical events as we walked from site to site. Seeing Big Ben and Parliament while hearing about key decisions made there added so much context. The Thames ferry ride was lovely, especially as we passed under Tower Bridge. Ending with the Crown Jewels felt like the perfect finale to an already exceptional day.

A Fantastic Overview of London for First-Timers

We had never visited London before, and this LivTours experience gave us a wonderful foundation. From listening to stories of royal ceremonies outside Buckingham Palace to learning about wartime London near Churchill’s War Rooms, everything felt thoughtfully curated. The Beefeater’s commentary inside the Tower added humor and personality. I now feel like I understand the city far better.

Worth Every Step and Every Minute

This tour covers a lot of ground, but our guide, Gozde, kept the energy high and the explanations clear. I loved hearing about the political rivalries that shaped Westminster and the fascinating symbolism behind the statues in Trafalgar Square. Our group of six felt intimate without being too small. The river cruise offered the perfect moment to rest before exploring the Tower of London.

A Rich and Immersive Look at London’s History

As a solo traveler, I appreciated the small group size and the depth of information our guide provided. We walked past so many iconic sites—Trafalgar Square, Westminster Abbey, Downing Street—while learning the stories behind each one. The boat ride on the Thames was scenic and gave a different perspective of the skyline. The Tower of London tour with the Yeoman Warder was a highlight I’ll remember for years.

Excellent Tour for Families

We were traveling with our two teens, and the pace of this tour was ideal. Our guide kept them engaged with fun anecdotes about the Beefeaters, Big Ben, and the royal traditions behind the guards’ uniforms. They especially loved seeing the Crown Jewels up close. It was a long day but incredibly rewarding, and LivTours handled everything seamlessly.

Finally able to visit London

Now that Covid is slowly becoming something of the past, we couldn't wait to get to London for our long-awaited visit. Neither the city nor our wonderful day tour by LivTours were disappointments. In fact, its really a great time to visit as things are still very calm and enjoyable. We had a fantastic guide named Thomas who knows the city inside and out and adds plenty of charm and style to his presentations. We easily made friends with the other couple in our little group and the day just whizzed by. We will certainly remember London and all that we learned with great fondness. Thanks LivTours!!

Great tour with a wonderful Tour Guide!

We loved our private tour of London's highlights with Alex, which included our big family of 3 adults and 5 kids ages 7-11. We saw so many of the key London sites during our tour which was perfect for the short period of time we spent in London. Alex knew a lot about London’s history, so he was able to tell us great stories, answers our questions, and give us advice for the rest of our trip. even though tour had a lot of walking, we were always in the right place at the right time, and it was never too much for the kids. As we enjoyed the entire tour, our favorite part of the tour was the Tower of London, which included the Beefeater tour and seeing the Crown Jewels. Make sure you have enough time to explore the Tower before it closes. We were not able to see the Westminster Abbey, because it was closed the day our of tour. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone who is looking into it, and if Alex is your tour guide, you’ll be in great hands and have a fantatsic time!

Excellent Full Day Tour

Jamie was an amazing tour guide, and was very knowledge about the history of London. He answered all of our questions, and he was easy to be around which was nice as it was just my husband and I on the tour. It was a rainy day, but Jamie was very flexible with the schedule. I highly recommend the full day London tour with Jamie and Live Tours!

Very Worthwhile

Our LivTours guide was very informative. She was also very mindful of our needs, including the needs and questions of our 10-year-old child.

The Perfect Way to See All of London in One Day

My husband and I only had two days in London, and this LivTours full-day experience made sure we didn’t miss a thing. Santiago guided our small group with ease, securing us a perfect spot for the Changing of the Guard and sharing stories about Churchill and Westminster that I’d never heard before.
