Your Chianti Wine Tasting tour begins with pickup at your Florence residence. From there you’ll set off to spend half your day exploring the beautiful Tuscan hills. The Chianti region is famous for its historic traditional wines they have been making for centuries.

Your first stop is at Castello di Verrazzano, a renowned vineyard named after the ancient Etruscan and Roman castle that has stood on this winemaking region for 1,000 years. In the heart of the Chianti Classico area, this 52-hectare estate makes some of the best red wine around. You’ll spend 1.5 hours touring the castle gardens and ancient wine cellars. You will be tasting their finest Chianti Classico DOCG wines, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar.

After your visit to Castello di Verrazzano, you will drive you through the small roads and lovely hills to your next stop, a charming agriturismo. This local family-run winery specializes in Chianti Classico. Here you’ll have the chance to eat lunch with fresh local cuisine served of course with their very own Chianti wines, before being driven back to your residence.
