Your expert English-speaking skipper will sail you out to sea, speeding over the waves, the warm wind whipping through your hair, and flecks of sea foam splashing at your legs. Sitting on the spacious sundeck, watch in wonder as the sun dips below the horizon, setting the sky ablaze with fiery oranges, reds and yellows – turning the azure blue sea to liquid fire, silhouetting the ancient rocks and islands against the sky.
Turn to look back at the Amalfi coastline, a 50km stretch of dramatic scenery forming the Sorrentine Peninsular. It is made up of cliffs, rocks, villages, islands, caves and other geological phenomena surrounded by pure, crystalline azure blue waters. Famous for its beauty, lemon groves and laidback islander lifestyle, Amalfi is justifiably one of the world’s most famous holiday destinations – popular with Hollywood royalty like Leonardo Di Caprio and George Clooney.
See how the setting sun drenches the grey and craggy cliffs with warm pinkish and orange hues; and how the coastal villages glow warm in the evening’s gloaming.
