The Ferrari Portofino is a powerful touring car which makes it an ideal car to test drive. Depending on the driving length you choose, you can either relax and cruise in style in the town of Maranello or put your foot down and feel its race car power on longer routes through the Italian countryside.
This is an unforgettable way to introduce your family to one of the most important Italian brands of this century. Please note, this experience includes an official Ferrari co-pilot and space for two extra companions in the backseat.
After working up an appetite, you will enjoy an all-inclusive lunch, tasting some of the region’s best cuisine. After lunch, you will have time to visit the Ferrari Museum and enjoy a panoramic bus ride through the factory grounds before becoming a Formula 1 driver and trying your hand at the original, and child-friendly, F1 simulators. It’s a jam-packed fun day out for both the adults and the kids!
Please note: drivers must have an International Driving Permit, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience. You must bring your physical national driving license and your International Driving Permit with you on the day of the tour—no photocopies or images will be accepted.
IMPORTANT: The International Driving Permit must be issued by an authorized Automobile Association in your home country (e.g. AAA or AATA in the USA)

Your LivTours family-friendly, private Ferrari experience starts in the town of Maranello, the birthplace and home of the Ferrari brand. Meet your official Ferrari co-pilot and slip into the driver’s seat of a Ferrari Portofino for a test drive of up to 2 hours (based on the selection you make when booking)! You will enjoy both the comfort and power of the Portofino with its trademark engine growl, your expert Ferrari driver as co-pilot, and having two travel companions enjoying the ride from the rear seats. With the click of a button, the Portofino’s hardtop roof will completely open in 14 seconds, showcasing the blue skies of Tuscany. The whole family will the novelty of cruising through Italy in the ultimate, sporty Italian convertible. Once your test drive is complete, you will get the perfect souvenir, a link to the recording of your drive as seen by an internal camera on the dashboard.
The excitement continues for adults as they get to experience 10 minutes in an original F1 simulator; kids will get to experience a child-friendly version.
Test drive and drive simulator completed, it is time to head off to an all-inclusive lunch, where you and your family will enjoy local delicacies. Maranello is located in the region of Emilia-Romagna which is rich in agricultural diversity, giving kitchens extraordinary local ingredients to work with – not to mention amazing wines from the area such as sparkling Pignoletto or Lambrusco. Maranello cuisine is known for its pastas, so bring your appetite!
Your Maranello Ferrari Experience also includes tickets to take the Bus Tour of Viale Enzo Ferrari which takes you across the grounds of the Ferrari Factory and for a spin around the track where the real F1 professionals do their yearly tests before the competitions begin.
Finally, you will have time to explore the Ferrari Museum. Follow the life of Enzo Ferrari from the very roots of his early ideas to his status as an elder statesman of the sports car world. Your family will learn all about the brand known for its prancing horse symbol including admiring their car collection and the huge trophy room.

If you family is larger than 4, please book additional participants (65 Euros each) when making your reservation so that all will be able to join for the meal, racing simulator, etc. Keep in mind, the Portofino has only two back seats.
