A Fresh Perspective on Seville’s Past
What impressed me most was how the tour illuminated women across all social classes, not just royals. I was especially touched by the story of Angela of the Cross, which our guide shared as we paused near a quiet street she once walked. The itinerary was well-paced, and I appreciated how much ground we covered without feeling rushed.
- Lukas SchneiderA Rich Focus on Women’s Voices
I’ve visited Seville several times, but this was the first tour that centered on the city’s women, and it completely changed my perspective. Walking through the Santa Cruz district while hearing about Saint Angela of the Cross was unexpectedly inspiring. I also appreciated the quiet moment in the Murillo Gardens, admiring the Catalina de Ribera fountain. Highly recommended for solo travelers who enjoy cultural depth.
- Patricia O’ConnellUnexpectedly Moving and Truly Eye-Opening
As a history teacher, I appreciated how thoughtfully the tour spotlighted women who rarely get much attention. Marco guided us through the Alcázar with such clarity, especially when explaining the scandal surrounding María de Padilla and her baths beneath the palace. Ending in the Plaza de España after wandering through María Luisa Park was absolutely stunning. A wonderful experience from start to finish.
- Geoffrey HallGreat Mix of Gardens, Architecture, and Herstory
Our multigenerational group (grandparents, parents, and a 10-year-old) had a fantastic time. Davide made the stories approachable for all ages, especially when he described María de Padilla’s legendary beauty and the political drama surrounding her. The lush paths through María Luisa Park were a welcome break for the grandparents, and the little one loved the bridges at Plaza de España.
- Shannon CarterFabulous - fun and knowledgeable!
We had a fabulous tour with Lola. She was knowledgeable and fun. She made the tour engaging and interesting for my 12-year-old daughter. We really enjoyed the whole tour and would highly recommend.
