Great day in Rome, even with teenagers!

My husband, 3 kids (ages 17, 15 and 12) and I had a wonderful day in Rome with our guide, Frederica. We booked a private day tour as we thought it might be too challenging to keep everyone engaged and interested in a group tour. It was the first time for my husband and kids to visit Rome and we wanted to have a really special tour of the best sights. Our day began on the wrong foot and we were late for our timed entrance but I called the LivItaly office who was very understanding and they revised our entrance time to make it all work! We really appreciated their patience and flexibility. Thank you LivItaly...we booked a tour in Venice too. Worth every penny, and we will recommend you to anyone we know who visits Italy!

Great day in Rome!

We booked the full day private tour of Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi fountain, St. Peter’s, Roman Forum and Coloseum. Our guide Barbara was amazing very caring and informative and despite the long day, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! No hesitation in recommending

The best way to see Rome

Our family of five (with our three adult kids) had our guide Giulia to ourselves for the day. I couldn’t believe how knowledgeable, passionate, kind and fun she was. We learned so much from her and there was not a single question she couldn’t answer. I have already suggested the same tour to my friends. Thank you so much for a fantastic part of our vacation!!

Rome with teenagers

We had a wonderful day in Rome with our guide, Frederica. We booked a private day tour as it’s challenging to keep everyone engaged and interested (especially the teens) in a big group situation. It was the first time for my husband and kids to visit Rome and we wanted to have a really special tour of the best sights. We couldn't have been more pleased and we all went home with very fond memories of this fascinating city. Highly recommend!

Amazing!

We just wanted to let you know what amazing experiences we had today. The benefits of off season timing plus your tour guides made the Vatican museums, Sistine Chapel, St Peters Basilica, catacombs and underground Rome tour incredibly special. We literally had a bit more than 20 minutes in the Sistine Chapel with only 11-12 other people...no kidding. It was like that everywhere- it was so personal and the guides were so informative and knowledgeable in a way that didn’t overwhelm but incredibly enhanced any experience we would have had otherwise. Thank you so much for your help in making our roman visit so special. We can’t wait for the Coliseum tomorrow!

Memorable experience!

We had a fantastic time on our Rome in a Day tour. I cannot speak highly enough of our guide Tonia. I feel honored to have been able to spend the day with her. Her knowledge and personality provided for an exceptional experience. My daughter is a history lover, full of questions and Tonia provided the information patiently and gave thorough explanations. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning about Rome.
