See the Tate with LivTours

If you are interested in modern art, you really must visit the Tate. It has a very vast and varied collection which our guide, Mary, explained in great detail. She is an artist herself so her take on the different works and the artists was fascinating. The tour was very thorough and our group was small (5 of us) as advertised. We probably wouldn't have enjoyed the visit as much as we did had we not booked this tour.

Tate Modern tour

We met our guide, Mary and the other 3 people in our group at the designated place, precisely in time. The tour was well paced and Mary was an excellent guide, being an art historian and praticing artist herself. She was very passionate about many of the works and was very good at pointing out details to us and giving us insight into the lives of the artists. The museum has a really great collection and is certainly worthy of a visit. If you do go, book the tour with this tour company.

Two fantastic museum tours

We were told that the British and the Tate were two museums really worth seeing during our trip to London. We booked small group tours through LivTours to see each one and we were so glad we did. We got so much more out of the experiences and will remember what we saw and the things we learned thanks to our two expert guides. After these two experiences we definitely rate this company and their tours with 5 + stars.

Highly recommend

After alot of research, we chose this tour for our visit to the Tate museum. It was a little more expensive than the others but guaranteed small group and expert guide. We got that AND MORE! It was worth every cent and can assure you that it's the greatest way to see this museum. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Excellent guided visit to the Tate

If you are interested in seeing some of the most famous masterpieces of modern art then you will undoubtably plan to visit the Tate Modern in London. Take my word: DO IT WITH LIVTOUR! You'll get so much more out of the visit and will come away with a much great understanding of the artwork and the artists' lives. If you can, request Mary as your guide. Art historian, artist herself, just a really awesome person! This was definitely a highlight of our time in London.

An awesome collection of modern art, shown to us by an excellent guide. Small group of only 6. Definitely worth the cost!

Entertaining and educational

This is a small group tour which we were very happy to have booked. We felt we got so much more out of the Tate thanks to our guide, Shelly, who was very knowledgeable. She pointed out details in the artwork that we wouldn't have known to look for and she had wonderful stories to share about the artists' lives and their artistic development. We came away with a much better understanding about modern art and with many new "favorites" to add to our list. Thanks Shelly and thank you, LivTours!

Definitely a 5 star tour

Seeing the Tate Gallery was on my bucket list of things to do in London. We booked LivTour's small group tour so that we would have the expertise of a guide to help explain what we were seeing and make the visit really worthwhile. We were not disappointed and we can heartily recommend this tour!
