Absolutely beyond my expectations

Our tour guide's explanation of the important details of St Mark's Basilica allowed us to better understand the history, religious significance and cultural references. Her love of the Basilica as well as her patience and attentiveness to her group did not go unnoticed. The light event was spectacular. The Basilica is so much more than a building and this tour proved it.

Incredible experience.

It was really a perfect tour. It felt very intimate. Our guide was incredible and really packed a lot in one hour while inside. They turned off all the lights, and slowly brought them up one by one. It was incredible. There are often times I visit an attraction, and I see something peculiar and wonder the story or history behind that one thing. Our Nico explained all of it!

Beautiful at Night

The St Mark’s experience was wonderful at any point : The beauty of the cathedral , may be more beautiful at night , the possibility to enjoy everything slowly and in the calm : It was just a dream. Nicola , our guide, was excellent , he knows such a lot of things and he is so passionate and very cultured

Awesome experience

We were met in the famous St Mark's square by our guide Cristina and the other couple in our small group (total of 4). Cristina was very knowledgeable about the history, culture and art of Venice and particularly passionate about St Marks Cathedral. When we entered the church, it took my breath away! Seeing the mosaics at night, with the special lighting effects, brings out its awesome beauty. We won't forget this special experience. Strongly recommend!

A rare opportunity not to be missed

We knew that experiencing St Mark at night would be special but we really had no idea just HOW SPECIAL it would be! LivItaly's tour shouldn't be passed up.
