Wonderful Cultural Experience
As visitors from Singapore, we appreciated the clarity and depth of the explanations. The walk across Ponte Pietra offered a refreshing breeze and a striking angle of the cityscape. We left with a much deeper appreciation of Verona’s layers of history.
- Wei Lin TanLoved Learning About Dante’s Connection to Verona
I didn’t realize Dante spent years here, and hearing about it while standing beneath his statue was such a cool moment. The whole tour flowed naturally from Roman to medieval sites. A highlight of my Italy trip.
- Oliver BennettGreat Mix of Legends and Real History
I appreciated that our guide balanced Shakespearean lore with factual history. The Arena from the outside is impressive enough, but learning how gladiatorial games actually worked made it far more vivid. Fantastic tour overall.
- Patricia O’HaraA Thoughtfully Curated Verona Experience
Our guide Davide had an incredible depth of knowledge and answered every question with enthusiasm. I especially appreciated the quieter corners he showed us near Piazza delle Erbe. This tour struck a balance between major sights and lesser-known gems.
- Christopher WebbJuliet’s Balcony Was Magical!
I booked this tour for my teenage daughter who’s obsessed with Romeo and Juliet, and she was over the moon. Giulia explained the real history behind the balcony and the thousands of love notes left behind. The small group size made it feel intimate and personal.
- Helen MurrayVerona deserves a visit
This small group walking tour of Verona was very well organized and set a comfortable pace so that we were able to see many of the most important parts of the city. There were only 6 of us in the group so personal interaction with the guide was possible, as well as with the other members of the group. The guide, Francesca, is a native of Verona and was very passionate about her city and its history. Her enthusiasm was contagious!

Marco shared stories from his childhood in Verona, which added a charming personal touch. I especially liked seeing the frescoes in Piazza delle Erbe and learning how they’ve been preserved. Highly recommend LivTours for this city.
- Rebecca LloydGreat Start to Our Day Trip
We came to Verona from Milan just for the day and this tour was perfect. It hit all the iconic spots without feeling rushed. Our guide even pointed us toward a bakery near the river where we found phenomenal pastries.
