Amazing tour!

We were so impressed with this tour and our tour guide! Catarina was so knowledgeable and we learned so much from her! This was the best guided tour that we took during our time in Rome. Would highly recommend!!! We have family traveling to Rome in the fall and told them to be sure to book this one!

College Class on Vatican Art with Alessandro

We had a fantastic tour of the Vatican with Alessandro. We learned so much about the various artists working on the Vatican but in particular we learned a lot about Michelangelo and Botticelli. It was fantastic to have an expert point out various subtleties we would never has noticed on a self guided tour. We enjoyed our tour and it was everything we hoped it would be. Alessandro was a fantastic ambassador for Rome and taught our group a ton on the art of the Vatican and the history of the various rooms and artwork in each area. The time went by too quickly and we would have loved to do several more hours of this tour. It was a wonderful way to finish a long day b enforce a fantastic dinner. Alessandro was the right Guide to get us through a chaotic Vatican

Alessandro did an incredible job getting us through a very crowded Vatican tour. He went far beyond the call of duty by pushing one of our guests in her wheelchair (that had a bad wheel), while sharing insights and knowledge and navigating us through elevators and crowded conditions. He deserves a medal and we would highly recommend him for any of your future tours in Rome.

Semi Private Vatican Tour

Our tour guide Marta was amazing. Her wide range of knowledge was truly impressive. Marta was able to bring the vast history of the Vatican museum and its artifacts in to easy to understand perspective. Marta was also able to answer a wide range of questions without having to use any aids or literature. She was very friendly and engaging, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

My husband and I took this tour for our anniversary and it was beyond romantic. The night air in the courtyards and the peaceful galleries created an unforgettable ambiance. Highly recommend for couples looking for a unique Rome experience.

A Surreal Experience

Exploring the Vatican without the swarms of tourists was surreal in the best way. I could actually hear my thoughts while staring at the frescoes! Highly recommend booking this night tour—it’s a hidden gem.

The Sistine Chapel Without Elbows

I visited the Sistine Chapel during the day years ago and barely saw anything over the crowd. This time? Quiet. Space. Time to really look and feel. It was emotional.

A Photographer’s Dream

Even without flash photography allowed, the lighting and mood at night created stunning photo ops. I loved the Gallery of Maps—so much detail and perspective. LivTours kept everything organized and informative.

As someone with mobility issues, I appreciated the slower pace and thoughtful commentary from our guide, Giulia. She checked in with us often and made sure we didn’t miss a thing. The Borgia Apartments were unexpectedly fascinating!
