Great Tour Despite the Crowds

We really enjoyed our tour of Pompeii with Carla. She was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of fascinating facts about the site. The only downside was how crowded it was, which made it a bit hard to hear at times. Still, a well-organized and informative experience overall!

Fascinating Tour, Just Wished for More Time

Our semi-private tour of Pompeii was truly fascinating. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, and we saw many of the key highlights. That said, we felt a bit rushed at times—there’s just so much to see, and we would have loved a bit more time to explore and ask questions. Overall, a great experience, but an extra 30 minutes would have made it perfect.

The tour of Pompeii was informative and our guide was clearly very knowledgeable. We did learn a lot and appreciated the historical insights. However, the overall experience wasn’t quite what we expected—perhaps more structured or immersive. Still, it was a worthwhile visit and we’re glad we went.

Semi-Private Tour of Pompeii

Spending the day in Pompeii with Annalisa felt like a journey back in time. The ruins of the city stretch far and beyond what any book can show. We were fully immersed as Annalisa guided us through the streets into the rediscovered homes and businesses of the people who lived there. I find it fitting to be writing this on August 24, the anniversary of the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius. (One of a million facts that I learned!)
