Unforgettable

We saw this tour advertised and it sounded like the best way to experience the flamenco (and tapas too) while we were in Barcelona. We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Our little group (only 5 of us) had a lovely tapas dinner, getting to know each other and listening to our fantastic guide, Maria, telling us all about the recipes and ingredients. Then Maria gave us a wonderful introduction to the history of flamenco and all that it means, both the music and the style of dancing. Having this background information made seeing the show so much more meaningful. It was easy to get swept away in the drama of it all!! This was a unforgettable experience and we will tell everyone we know about it.

Entertaining and educational

The group was composed of 4 (2 couples) and the guide. We appreciated the intimacy and personal touch that this very small group provided. Especially during the Flamenco show where it was very easy to get swept up into the drama of the music. The guide, Jorge, was a delight! Very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to be with. We were happy we booked this tour and will definitely recommend it to others.

Beautiful flamenco show

How much more meaningful it was for us to see a Flamenco Show with a local guide who could explain the traditions and the symbolism of this style of music and dance. It is a beautifully comunicative art form and we were really enthralled with the whole performance. The Tapas Tasting was fun too....interesting to realize the differences between the authentic tapas and the imports we find at home! All in all, this was one of the best evenings we spent in Barcelona!

Excellent in every way

We couldn't go to Barcelona and not experience the Flamenco so we booked this tour with LivSpain. We had a very enjoyable time and the tour, the tapas tasting and the flamenco show were all very memorable. Our guide Jorges shared many insights into the flamenco tradition so it was very easy to get swept up in the music and symbolism of the dance. This was a small group tour so we shared the experience with just 1 other couple with whom we became quite friendly. It was a wonderful evening and everything that we had hoped it would be.

A really great evening

How can you come to Spain and not experience a true Flamenco show?? This was definitely on our bucket list and LivSpain's tour was the perfect solution. Our group of 4, plus guide, was the perfect size. We enjoyed the tapas and other authentic food and really got into the symbolism of the flamenco dancing and singing. This tour is a definite "must" when in Spain!!

We loved every minute!

We knew we had to see a real flamenco show while in Spain so this tour was just perfect for us. We met our guide, who was warm and friendly right from the start and who gave us a wonderful overview of the neighborhood. After a great, very authentic dinner, we watched the flamenco show. Our guide was very good at explaining all of the meanings in the music and in the movements of the dancers and we couldn't help but get caught up in the emotions being displayed. It was an experience neither my husband or I will soon forget!
