Walking in Picasso’s Footsteps
Our guide Elena brought Picasso’s Barcelona to life in such a vivid way! From wandering through El Born’s narrow alleys to standing in front of his early sketches at the Picasso Museum, I felt immersed in his creative evolution. The small group size made it easy to ask questions and really connect. A must-do for art lovers.
- Michael ReynoldsAn Art Lover’s Dream Come True
This tour exceeded all expectations. Our guide Giulia knew everything about Picasso’s youth and tied each stop in El Born to a part of his story. Seeing the “Las Meninas” series in person after learning the context behind it gave me chills. Small group, intimate pace — just perfect.
- Sarah WhitmanFrom Sketches to Masterpieces
As someone who’s studied art history, I appreciated how LivTours kept this experience detailed yet approachable. Marco was a passionate storyteller, and I loved his anecdotes about Picasso’s rebellious student years. The museum visit was well-timed and uncrowded. Highly recommend.
- Alice TurnerA Great Tour for Teens, Too!
We took our two teenage daughters, and even they were fascinated. Our guide, Davide, connected Picasso’s early life to the streets we walked — pointing out old studio locations and cafés he frequented. The museum’s youthful sketches were a hit with my girls. LivTours nailed it again!
- Rebecca ChangThe Spirit of Picasso in Every Corner
You really feel Picasso’s spirit in El Born. The cobblestones, the studios, the galleries — all come alive when a guide like Chiara explains their significance. I especially loved learning how Barcelona shaped his Blue Period. Truly intimate and moving.
- Thomas WagnerA Tour That Feels Personal
There were only four of us in the group, which made it feel like a private tour. Our guide Davide encouraged questions and shared touching stories about Picasso’s relationship with his father. I left the museum feeling like I’d met the man, not just the artist.
- Robert MillerA Wonderful Morning in El Born
The LivTours Picasso Tour gave us insight not just into the artist but also the city itself. Strolling through El Born while hearing stories of Picasso’s mentors and friends helped me imagine young Pablo at work. The museum finale was icing on the cake.
- Linda JamesonEducational Yet Relaxed Experience
I booked this as a solo traveler and couldn’t have felt more comfortable. Marco fostered easy conversation and even paused so we could sketch a quick street scene near one of Picasso’s former studios. A truly inspiring afternoon.
- Emily NovakBrilliantly Guided, Deeply Inspiring
Giulia was phenomenal — animated, articulate, and clearly passionate about art. She showed us the evolution of Picasso’s style through his Barcelona years in a way I’d never understood before. The small group made discussion so engaging.
- Daniel BrooksA Perfect Blend of History and Art
This semi-private tour struck a perfect balance between walking, storytelling, and museum time. Our group of five felt like friends by the end. Elena even shared recommendations for tapas places Picasso once loved — a great post-tour treat!
