Fun walking tour

François was a fantastic tour guide! You could tell that he has such passion and so much knowledge of Paris and Montmartre. Walking tours typically feel long, but his personality sped up the time because we were so engaged. We learned a lot more on this tour than any of our other tours throughout our trip. Definitely recommend!

Amazing informative tour of the catacombs and a brief history of Paris!

Strolling through Montmartre is fascinating but we loved it even more thanks to our lovely guide, Marie. So many famous places, famous people, artists, writers, musicians have walked and lived on these same streets. We were mesmerized, as was the other couple in our group, with the many stories Marie had to tell us. The Sacre Coeur cathedral is breaktaking and we had some of the best views of Paris from the top of the stairs. It really was a wonderful tour and we can't thank Marie enough!

Delightful

We spent a lovely morning in Montmartre in a group of just 5 people and a wonderful LivParis guide named Josie. We strolled and observed and listened to the information and details that Josie was so great at sharing with us. She really made the area, its past residents and all the colorful history, come alive. Just a delightful tour!

Montmartre walking tour

We had a lovely stroll through Montmartre with our guide from LivParis. We were in a group of 5 (our family of 3 and another young couple from Ireland) with an absolutely brilliant guide named Richard (UK citizen but resident in Paris). He told us all about the history of this very picturesque area of the city and the many famous artists, poets and musicians who lived and created on these same streets. The tour of the Sacre Coeur cathedral was mystical and the view from there over the Paris skyline was breathtaking. We recommend this tour to all.

Very good tour with excellent guide

Our guide on this walking tour of Montmartre was named Richard and he was awesome! A UK citizen but resident in Paris for many years. He knows the history and the colorful stories surrounding the Montmartre area and shared his knowledge with us in a fun and enjoyable way. We became very friendly with the other couple in our group -- which was possible because of the small group quality of this tour. We saw others in big groups, following the guide holding up his umbrella and we were so glad that we were getting such a better Montmartre experience!

Excellent tour

This excellent tour allowed us wonderful insights into the history of Paris. So much has happened here, so many important people were part of its making and so many breathtaking places and views to see. Montmartre is an important cultural/historical center of Paris and merits the kind of indepth visit that this tour gave us.
