Spectacular!

Reflecting on this tour, definitely a highlight of my trip to Rome. Our group was fun, and our expert guide, Loretta, helped make this tour special and memorable! She was kind, patient, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Glad I chose LivTours!

Unbelievable guide for an amazing tour

We were incredibly fortunate to have Dennis as our guide on this tour. His sense of humor and his incredible knowledge about Roman history made this our standout experience that we are still talking about a year later. Dennis was able to recall specific details and years (not decades, not ranges) throughout the tour that brought the history of the Colusseum and Forum alive, and was able to point out notable landmarks that lacked any markings or signs. Without him, a tour on our own would have greatly lacked the depth and interest we experienced during our afternoon/evening. We were especially grateful that he was willing to accommodate various photo stops along the way, even pointing out a few special places for great photos.

Wonderful history

Enjoyed the tour with Fabio. He kept the group engaged and answered all of our questions. We didn’t have headsets but he made sure we could hear him. The history and the stories were fascinating. FWIW- the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill were ok, but the long wait to get in was a high price to pay.

Great tour of the Colosseum!

The tour of the Colosseum and ancient Rome by LivTours was fantastic. Fabio was a great tour guide - he was interesting and knowledgeable for any questions we had. The group size was only 7 which was also perfect so that it felt more intimate than a large crowd. Thank you, Fabio!

Excellent Tour

Fantastic tour with Gabriella! The arena floor tour was more than we could have imagined. Our guide was so knowledgeable and the staff at LivTours was excellent. We will definitely use this company again in the future!!

Loved it!

Fabrizio was exceptional...shared so much knowledge during our three hour tour. It was hot and he didn't skip a beat. We have so many wonderful memories from our trip and this tour was a highlight!!

Incredible Experience!

Our guide, Andrada, was the key to take this from an interesting tour to an incredible experience. We had several semi-private tours while in Rome, we all agreed this was the best tour because she provided much depth into the 'why' the Colossuem and the ancient Romans were so dominant. She painted clear pictures and accurate descriptions on ancient Roman life, we felt as if we were there. Next time we are in Italy, will reach out to her for another tour of a different area. We loved her energy, style of providing information, and professionalism. Thanks, Andrada!

Wonderful Tour

Our family of 5 had a great day touring the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful answering our questions. We would have loved to hear a few more stories told (the more interesting juicy stuff) and also even though it was a small tour not having headsets was an issue. Many times we couldn’t hear her as we walked and would have also loved to hear side conversations as we walked and she answered additional questions.

Simply the Best

This tour is a must on your Rome holiday. Our guide Gillaume (Gill) was fabulous. So knowledgeable and ensured he spent enough time explaining and enabled us to absorb the atmosphere that surrounds this vast site. I highly recommend this tour with Liv and I am so glad that we did. Gill - simply the best.

Seeing pictures of the Colosseum does not do justice to experiencing it in person! With Patrick as our guide we learned something at every single turn about the history and significance of Ancient Rome and its peoples.
