Learned so much!

My family enjoyed the afternoon that we spent with Lucina. She was knowledgeable and open to every question that we asked. She was patient with the younger children in our group and choose shaded places for us to stand when she told us the history. Even with the crowds, she did a great job guiding our small group so that we never felt hurried or crushed with people.

Worth the money!

We booked the Best of Colosseum & Ancient Rome with Exclusive Arena Access tour in May 2025 for myself, my wife, and four friends. Although I’ve visited the Forum and the Colosseum many times over the years, this was the first time I’ve booked a guided tour—and I have to say, it was worth every penny. With the crowds, long lines, and multiple security checkpoints, having access to the reserved entrances was a real advantage. Our guide, Luciana, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful—always checking in to make sure we were doing well in the hot sun. Touring in a small group made the experience much more personal. We didn’t have to wear the usual headsets, and it was easy to interact with the guide throughout. Luciana was also able to tailor the tour to focus on the sights we were most interested in, rather than following a fixed script. She even gave us some great recommendations for other places to explore afterward. We highly recommend this tour—and especially Luciana as a guide!

Amazing Colosseum Tour

Words cannot describe how grateful my family is that we chose this tour. It had a maximum of 6 people per group, but my family of 4 had the tour all to ourselves! This was wonderful as one of our guests had an issue with his knee. Our tour guide, Paolo, was extremely accommodating. As we walked through the Forum and Palatine Hill, he asked our guest what his limits were and what he could and could not do. Paolo made sure to take his time with the tour and still made sure we could see everything that we could. The Colosseum was amazing! There are elevators inside so that was great for people with medical issues or disabilities. The stairs are VERY steep! Make sure to bring your passports as well!

Marco gave an excellent, in-depth commentary on the Colosseum and Roman Ruins. We learned so much more than if we toured on our own.

Excellent tour.

Excellent tour and excellent guide!

We really enjoyed the tour with Davide. It was (of course) very crowded, but Davide was able to keep it interesting and knew all of the places to avoid overcrowding. Highly recommend!

Impressive Tour!

We wanted to pass along how impressed we were with our tour guide Fabio on our Colosseum tour on May 2nd. We ended up being the only 2 in our group that day, which was amazing! Fabio was very friendly and so knowledgeable about what we were seeing. Answered all our questions and even carried our water bottles. We would highly recommend Liv Tours for anyone and if they are lucky enough to get Fabio, they will not be disappointed.

Fabulous

We really enjoyed our snall group tour with Helena. She was very knowledgeable, went at a good pace and knew all the right spots to stop throughout the tour. The small group tour is much better for learning history and seeing things than the larger tours. We were very satisfied with the small group tour and guide was fabulous.
