A Tour Worth Repeating
I’d happily take this tour again just to experience it with another guide’s perspective. The city has so many layers, and LivTours did a fantastic job peeling them back. The Duomo, Baptistery, Ponte Vecchio, and David — it was everything Florence should be.
- William ScottBeyond Expectations
I had high expectations, and LivTours exceeded them. Our guide Marco wove humor into history, making the city’s stories stick. Seeing the Duomo, then stepping inside the Accademia, felt like going through centuries in a single afternoon.
- Laura WhiteFun and Informative Tour
Elena kept us entertained while teaching us so much about Florence’s history. The Piazza della Repubblica was lively, and the Ponte Vecchio had such charm. Ending at the Accademia with David was the highlight of our Italian vacation.
- Paul MartinezInspiring and Beautiful
As someone who paints, the colors of the Duomo and the details of the Baptistery doors struck me deeply. Our guide Chiara described them like poetry. I left feeling inspired to create again. David was a masterpiece beyond words.
- Stephanie YoungThe Best of Florence in One Tour
We only had a short time in Florence, and this tour covered everything we wanted. The Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, the Baptistery — all without stress. Seeing David with no lines was worth the price alone.
- Richard AllenA Great Educational Experience
Traveling with our college-aged daughter, we wanted something enriching. Giulia delivered just that. She linked Michelangelo’s work to political struggles of the time, which fascinated our daughter. This tour was an investment in all of us.
- Karen RossFor Lovers of Architecture
I was blown away by Brunelleschi’s Dome. Our guide explained how revolutionary it was in its time, which made me see it in a whole new way. The Gates of Paradise were another architectural treasure. And David — just extraordinary.
- John MitchellPerfect Mix of Education and Fun
Our kids (12 and 14) actually enjoyed this tour, thanks to Marco’s humor. He compared David to modern athletes and made the architecture feel exciting. The Piazza della Repubblica carousel was a fun surprise for them.
- Lisa AndersonTruly Private and Personal
Unlike group tours, this felt tailored to us. Elena adjusted the route when we wanted more time at the Duomo. We lingered at the Ponte Vecchio and still made it into the Accademia with no wait. It felt like Florence was ours for the day.
- Benjamin CarterBest Birthday Gift
My husband booked this tour for my birthday, and it was unforgettable. Strolling through Piazza della Signoria surrounded by sculptures was a gift in itself. Seeing David in person felt like the icing on the cake.
