What an amazing guide!
If you choose to tour the Vatican museums, and you must when visiting Rome, please ask for Tetyana as your host. A wealth of knowledge barely scratches the surface of what you will get. She is so obviously passionate about history and art and is so willing to share and educate. We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Recommend however, to be over your jet lag as it is a lot to take in and you’ll want to be fresh. Breakfast was certainly a novelty and we do not regret but would not do that part again.
- Amy BumgarnerWONDERFUL guide! Fascinating history.
This was a very nice experience. Getting to the Vatican early meant we got in quickly and beat much of the day's heat. The breakfast was tasty, too. Deborah was a fantastic guide! I was traveling with my nearly 80 year-old father-in-law and he has limited mobility - Deborah ensured we had adequate resting stops (and restroom visits) and opportunities for us to sit while she educated us on the history. She even scouted out seats for him in busy locations, which eases a lot of anxieties as someone traveling with a loved one who has limited mobility. I haven't studied art history since high school (and even then, I failed the course...) however, Deborah's background in art history brought so many of history back to me in a surprising way. I would definitely book an experience to have Deborah as a guide again.
- Tyler B.An Exceptional Morning From Start to Finish
This tour was flawless from the moment we entered. We began with a serene breakfast in the Pinecone Courtyard. It was calm, well-organized, and delicious. After breakfast, our guide Chiara walked us through the Vatican Museums, pacing everything perfectly so we never felt rushed. She prepped us for the Sistine Chapel beforehand so we could take it all in silently, and it was even more stunning than I had imagined. We then entered St. Peter’s Basilica through the special entrance, skipping the huge crowds. This is an experience that layers history, beauty, and comfort while giving us VIP treatment.

You know you’re somewhere special when your morning coffee comes with a view of ancient Vatican sculptures. The breakfast felt unhurried, personal, and authentic.
- Trevor BellA Magical Morning Meal
Breakfast in the Vatican courtyard felt like something out of a dream. Everything was fresh, and the cappuccino was the best I had in Rome. I could’ve sat there for hours.
- Vanessa WhiteVatican Breakfast Was Surprisingly Amazing
I expected a simple coffee and croissant but was blown away by the full buffet: eggs, meats, fruit, yogurt, and more. It set a relaxed tone for the whole day.
- Louis ParkerPerfect Way to Learn and Relax
Our guide was patient, informed, and great with our kids. We weren’t overwhelmed with facts, but left with real appreciation for the Vatican’s history and significance. Starting with breakfast helped us ease into the experience and beat the heat and crowds.
- Lana MitchellQuiet Luxury in the Vatican
The gallery of maps, Raphael Rooms, and finally the Sistine Chapell all without the noise and herds of big groups. Our guide Marco was charismatic and incredibly educated in Renaissance history. Breakfast was filling and delicious, a proper sit-down meal.
- Frederick BellAn Unforgettable Morning
We booked this as a treat, and it truly delivered. From the moment we stepped through the gates, everything was smooth and private. We learned so much from our guide.
- Danielle RussoMust-do in the Vatican!
We had done a general Vatican tour before, but this was on another level. A real sit-down breakfast, expert guiding, and space to think and breathe. I had the space and time to take in the Sistine Chapel this time round. To say you have had breakfast in the actual Vatican is quite nice too!!
