Perfect Blend of History and Culture
The two-day tour covered so much, but what I loved most was how our guide wove together history, art, religion, and everyday Roman life. Lunches in local trattorias broke up the sightseeing beautifully. By the end, I felt like I truly understood Rome.
- Heather JohnsonRome Without the Chaos
The city can feel overwhelming with its crowds and traffic, but with LivTours, we felt insulated from the stress. Chiara managed the logistics effortlessly so all we had to do was enjoy the sights. Ending at the Spanish Steps with a panoramic view was magical.
- Gregory AllenBest Tour We’ve Ever Taken
We travel often and take a lot of tours, but this one stands out. The pacing, the guides, the sites—it was flawless. Even my usually hard-to-impress husband said it was the best tour he’s been on.
- Olivia MartinezRome Comes Alive
Our guide Marco had such energy and enthusiasm, especially when describing the gladiators of the Colosseum and the intrigues of the Popes. It made the history feel alive and relevant. We learned so much and had fun doing it.
- Brian ThompsonTwo Days, a Thousand Memories
We took this tour as a couple celebrating our anniversary, and it was perfect. From tossing coins at Trevi Fountain to holding hands in the Sistine Chapel, every moment felt special. Our guide, Elena, even took a few great photos of us at Piazza Navona.
- Stephanie CarterGreat for Art Lovers
The Borghese Gallery was the highlight for me. Our guide’s explanation of Caravaggio’s paintings made them come alive in a way I’d never experienced. Pairing that with the Vatican masterpieces the next day made for an art lover’s dream.
- Patrick O’NeillMaking Rome Accessible
I have mobility issues, but LivTours and our guide Luca went above and beyond to make sure I could enjoy the full experience. He knew exactly where to find ramps and elevators, and never made me feel like a burden. Seeing the Vatican and Colosseum without stress was a gift.
- Karen PhillipsA Luxury Experience
From the private guide to the skip-the-line entries, everything felt first class. Giulia even helped us find a great coffee spot between tours. Ending at St. Peter’s Basilica with the evening light streaming through the windows was unforgettable.
- William HarrisPerfect for First-Time Visitors
We had never been to Rome and wanted to see as much as possible. This tour delivered. Our guide Davide managed to balance big sites like the Colosseum and Vatican with smaller gems like the Mouth of Truth and the Basilica of San Clemente. It felt comprehensive but not overwhelming.
- Rachel FosterRome in Context
I’ve visited Rome before, but this tour gave me a completely new perspective. Elena tied together the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Forum into one continuous story. Then, moving into Renaissance and Baroque art at the Borghese Gallery and Vatican felt like traveling through time.
