My wife and I had not realized how important Barcelona was to Picasso's early life and artistic style. After this very interesting tour, we both felt we went away with renewed admiration for all that contributed to this artist's works. This is a great tour for veteran and novice Modern Art lovers alike.

Picasso is one of my favorite artists so I couldn't resist the Picasso walking tour in Barcelona offered by LivSpain. It was so inspiring to see where this artist grew up, to visit the academy where he studied, to learn all about his life (even many facts that I didn't know) and the events and people who influenced his works. My guide was a art historian but talked about Picasso not in a boring, academic way but as if he were recounting stories and insights about an old friend. I enjoyed every minute of this tour and will definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

My partner and I are art students so, of course, we couldn't pass up the chance to learn about Picasso in his early years and experience the atmosphere in which he grew up. We were also very impressed with this tour company and with the guide (art history professional) that they have doing this tour. Definitely recommend.

Fascinating tour

My wife and I booked the Picasso walking tour offered by LivSpain on our second visit to Barcelona. Having already had a general introduction to the city on our first visit, we were ready for more detailed and in-depth information about what the city has to offer. We were very pleased with the Picasso tour and found it quite fascinating. Our guide Richard (UK citizen, art history major, living in Barcelona for 8 years) was just superb. He shared many insights into the artist and his style and helped us to understand how it all fit into the modern art movement. We will definitely recommend this tour to anyone we know coming to Barcelona.

Very interesting and educational

I am not an expert on modern art but after taking this walking tour dedicated to Picasso, I feel like I can appreciate this artistic movement and am much more informed of the influences that made Picasso's work what it is. He had a very interesting life and the tour takes you through the various stages, from his youth to his final years, that contributed to the development of his unique style. I can strongly recommend this tour to anyone curious to know more about this artist.

Awesome

What a wonderful way to experience Picasso and his works! We visited the places of his youth and saw many of his works from the different periods of his life. LivSpain's guide, Fernando, was extremely well prepared and passionate about Picasso and shared insights into details of his paintings that we would not have known about otherwise. He made this awesome tour even more memorable!

Unforgettable and educational tour

This tour was awesome! Picasso is one of our most favorite modern artists but even if he wasn't, his life is so fascinating that it's certainly worth taking this tour. We saw many of his early works and where he studied as a young man. But just walking the streets and hearing all about his life and the influences that shaped his artistic career was simply awesome!
