A private tour of the ancient port city

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour of Ostia Antica with Rossana! Although a private tour will be pricier than a group tour, I highly recommend if you’re traveling with anyone with mobility issues or simply want to go at a slower pace and don’t want to slow the whole group down. Rossana was a wealth of knowledge about the ancient city of Ostia Antica and we loved spending the morning with her. This was our 3rd tour this trip we’ve done with LivTours and have been really happy with the company overall. We were running late for this particular tour and they were easy to get a hold of and I were very understanding and accommodating. Rossana, thank you for hosting us!

Relatively unknown but definitely worth a visit

Ostia Antica is a relatively unknown part of ancient Rome history but definitely worth a visit! We booked the private tour which included transport from our hotel. If you are interested in ancient roman history this place is a must. We were fortunate that there were no crowds on the day we went and we had an amazing guide - Guilia - who was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the site and the Romans in general.
