Wonderful In-Depth Tour of the Museum

We had a great visit to the enormous Naples Archeological Museum with Carmen. We were mostly interested in the objects from Pompei and Herculaneum so Carmen focused our visit on some of those. She told us a lot about Roman culture and connected these details to the objects we saw in the museum. We especially enjoyed some of the beautiful mosaics that were once in Pompeian homes. Carmen also gave us a lot of interesting details about the early excavations of the sites and the history of excavations. We enjoyed it all immensely. Carmen also has a good sense of humor, which we enjoyed a lot.

Definitely a must-see

My wife and I are ancient history buffs so to visit the National Archaeological Museum in Naples has been a lifetime dream.
