A Day to Remember
This tour was the highlight of our Italy trip. Pisa gave us those classic photos, but Lucca surprised us with charm and history. LivTours made it stress-free, luxurious, and perfectly paced.
- Christopher AllenBeyond the Tourist Spots
While the Leaning Tower was on our bucket list, I actually enjoyed Lucca more. Walking its peaceful streets and seeing locals go about their day gave me a deeper connection to Tuscany. I wouldn’t have discovered it without this tour.
- Maria FernandezA Seamless Experience
From hotel pickup to the final drop-off, everything went smoothly. Our guide, Elena, explained Lucca’s Roman roots in such an engaging way. I especially enjoyed hearing about the restoration of Pisa’s leaning tower.
- Peter RichardsonGreat Mix of Activity and Leisure
Our kids loved climbing Pisa’s tower while we enjoyed coffee nearby. Later, in Lucca, we opted for a bike ride along the walls, which gave us a new perspective of the town. It was active but never exhausting.
- Angela MorganTuscan Beauty All the Way
The countryside drive itself was worth it, with vineyards and olive groves stretching endlessly. Pisa impressed us, but Lucca captured our hearts with its unique oval amphitheater square. We felt like locals for a day.
- David FosterPerfect Blend of Famous and Quiet
Seeing Pisa’s Leaning Tower was thrilling, but I loved that the day didn’t end there. Lucca had fewer crowds, and the atmosphere was enchanting. LivTours made the whole day feel tailored just for us.
- Stephanie YoungWonderful for Solo Travelers
I booked this as a solo traveler and never once felt out of place. The driver was friendly and pointed out small villages along the way. Lucca’s gardens at Palazzo Pfanner were breathtaking — I’m glad they were included.
- Mark EdwardsPisa’s Tower and Lucca’s Walls
Climbing the 294 steps of the Leaning Tower was a thrill. Later, walking along Lucca’s fortified walls gave us a sense of calm and history combined. Our driver was attentive without being intrusive.
- Natalie StevensA Day of Tuscan Charm
The drive itself was beautiful, with rolling hills and villas dotting the landscape. Pisa was lively, but Lucca completely stole my heart with its walled old town. I’ll remember sipping wine in its quiet square forever.
- Anthony MartinezEducational and Fun
Our guide Chiara was full of knowledge but never overwhelming. She explained how engineers stabilized the Leaning Tower, which fascinated my kids. In Lucca, she shared stories about Puccini’s music. A truly enriching family day.
