The Best Excursion We’ve Ever Taken
We’ve done many cruise excursions, but this private LivTours tour outshone them all. Florence was mesmerizing, and the skip-the-line access to David was priceless. Pisa’s Square of Miracles was the perfect finale before returning relaxed and on time to the ship.
- Rachel EvansTruly Unforgettable Day
I was most excited about Florence, but Pisa surprised me with its beauty. The Cathedral and Baptistery were stunning. Our guide’s storytelling in Florence made us feel like insiders, not just tourists. Highly recommend LivTours for anyone stopping in Livorno.
- Emma WilliamsLuxury and Learning Combined
From the plush van ride through Tuscany to the expert guide in Florence, this excursion combined luxury with deep learning. Davide’s knowledge of Michelangelo’s techniques made the Accademia unforgettable. Pisa was an added bonus before returning to our ship.
- Charles BennettPerfect for Couples and Friends
We were a group of four, and this private tour was ideal. We could move at our own pace, linger in Piazza della Signoria, and even stop for coffee along the way. Pisa was a quick but memorable stop. Everything ran like clockwork.
- Daniel RuizFive Stars All Around
LivTours organized everything to perfection. Our driver was courteous, our guide knowledgeable, and the skip-the-line tickets saved us so much time. Florence and Pisa in one day could have felt rushed, but it was balanced beautifully.
- Matthew AdamsStress-Free Shore Excursion
I loved not having to worry about logistics. From the moment we stepped off the ship, everything was handled. Our driver knew the best routes, our guide was engaging, and Pisa provided just the right ending before returning comfortably to Livorno.
- Susan CarterFlorence Brought to Life
Chiara, our guide, was an absolute gem. She told stories of the Medici family that made Florence feel alive. Standing beneath the David with her narration was something I’ll never forget. Pisa’s leaning tower was the perfect lighthearted finish.
- Natalie BrooksEducational and Inspiring
I studied art in college, but hearing Marco’s perspective in front of Michelangelo’s David added layers of meaning. Standing in Piazza della Repubblica and learning about its Roman roots was equally fascinating. Pisa’s square of miracles was the perfect blend of history and fun photo opportunities.
- Karen DouglasGreat for Multigenerational Travel
We had three generations with us — from my 8-year-old granddaughter to my 75-year-old father — and everyone loved it. The guide paced things well, and having private transport made all the difference. Florence was inspiring, and Pisa gave us those classic photos to share.
- Brian O’ConnorA Wonderful First Visit to Florence
This was my first time in Florence, and I can’t imagine a better introduction. Seeing the Duomo up close was breathtaking, and our guide’s explanation of its construction was fascinating. Pisa was smaller than Florence but equally charming.
