Outstanding Vatican Experience

This tour was made extra special by Valentina, who was an amazingly knowledgeable and engaging guide. She was mindful of the needs of our group and ensured there was plenty of opportunity for shade, rest and questions. Valentina was able to explain the history of these amazing sites, allowing us to appreciate the art, sculptures and tapestries for their historical significance. Despite the crowds our tour enabled us to skip the queues and move at a leisurely pace. Booking and communication with Liv Tours were excellent, and we highly recommend this professional company and value for money tour to anyone visiting Rome wanting to visit the Vatican.

Exceeded expectations!! 10 stars

We had a private tour today with Gabriella, and she was just lovely and made our tour feel so personal and special. We felt like our friend just took us for a tour of her own personal space. Born and raised in Rome she really showed and shared with us what she knew as important. She often pulled the 4 of us in to a small open space or corner of a room to explain the details of the sculptures, fresco’s, statues and tapestries. Her detail mattered so much to us and she was proud of her home and church. We could not have been more happy with our tour and Gabriella. Don’t hesitate if you think this tour is expensive. It’s worth every penny. If you can request Gabriella. DO IT!

Best Tour Experience

I wanted to write about my experience with Carlotta and Liv Tours. I have travelled to Europe many times and have done countless tours of various monuments and museums. My tour with Carlotta was by far the best experience I’ve ever had. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, and outgoing which is an extremely valuable combination. Great Vatican tour with Valeria

Our tour of the Vatican with Valeria was wonderful. She was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The start of the tour was on time and at the advertised location. I would recommend LivTours and Valeria without hesitation.

Very Knowledgeable and Patient

We had a private tour as a family with two kids, aged 6 and 11. Zenda kept the kids very engaged through storytelling while keeping us moving. When we wanted to see the Egyptian artifacts, she took us through the Egyptian gallery, and my kids really enjoyed it. She was able to connect stories in Hindu mythology to the ones in Greek and Roman. Though we were short on time, she showed us all that we wanted to see. She worked as an archeologist before and enjoys talking to kids. We would highly recommend her to anyone.

Private Highlights Vatican Guided Tour

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time on Rome and the Tour of the Vatican was one of the highlights. Our guide Luciana was an excellent host. She expertly navigated us through the space and we learned so much from her insights. Amazing tour of an amazing place, we highly recommend.

Vatican Tour

We really enjoyed our tour with Livie at the Vatican. It was very hot and the crowds were chaotic, but Livie kept our group of 9 engaged and moving briskly through the crowds. She kept 5 teenagers interested and engaged in the process of learning all about the museum exhibits and highlights. Thanks for a great tour!

Private Highlights Vatican Guided Tour

Our tour guide, Gabriella, was fantastic with giving our family a memorable tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Basilica. She was not only very knowledgeable and pleasant, but she also kept our daughters (ages 6 and 10) constantly engaged and provided us with a unique perspective in appreciating the art, architecture, and history of the Vatican!

Private Vatican tour in German

We did a private Vatican tour with Patrizia and we enjoyed it very much. Patrizia is such a lovely person and we felt she was so knowledgeable about everything she told us and all the questions we had. She guided as well through the masses of tourist and always tried to find a good spot for us to enjoy the arts and architecture. Defo recommend Patrizia to any one but also especially to German speakers. She speaks it very well

Awesome tour!

Ettore was so awesome!! Our whole group loved him. The Vatican was busy and he navigated us through it all in a way that felt totally manageable, enjoyable, and somehow despite how packed it was made it feel like we were not in a horde of people.
