Thank you, Ilaria!
We had an outstanding experience on the Private Family Colosseum Tour for Kids. Ilaria was wonderful — knowledgeable, warm, patient, and incredibly engaging with our family. The Colosseum and ancient Rome can be overwhelming, especially with children, but Ilaria made the history come alive in a way that was fun, understandable, and memorable. She kept the kids interested while still making the tour meaningful and enjoyable for the adults. Everything felt well-organized, personal, and thoughtful from start to finish. This was a highlight of our time in Rome, and I would highly recommend this experience to any family looking for a kid-friendly but genuinely high-quality Colosseum tour. Five stars without hesitation!
- RemyThe Best Way to Explore Ancient Rome with Kids
This was an excellent and educational tour of the Colosseum and the Forum. Valentina was an excellent guide and amazingly patient with our 9 and 7 year olds. She had many pictures to help our children picture what ancient Rome looked like and how the remains would have looked like. She taught them Roman numerals, learned about Roman gods, types of columns, and my children still proudly recite this information to this day. Valentina did an amazing job and I recommend, for anyone traveling to Rome, to look into a tour yourself!
- Sidney FamilySuch a nice tour through the Coliseum and the Roman Foro
Alessia was really really nice and told us very interesting stories, always taking care of our boy of 7. She even spent extra time with us and gave us recommendations. She spoke to us in English,Italian and Spanish which we loved.
- MarinaExcellent and very engaging Tour
This is one of the best tour we had on our trip to Rome. We selected a kids friendly tour so our kids can enjoy and stay engaged. Stefania did an amazing job explaining and showing us the main highlights during the tour. She was patient and gave us plenty of time to enjoy and soak in. Our kids loved it. Highly recommend this tour with Stef.
- Naved KhanFrom Boredom to Excitement in Minutes
My teenage nephew started the day rolling his eyes, but by the time we reached the Roman Forum, he was asking questions and taking photos. Davide, our guide, knew how to make history relevant for older kids too. Highly recommend for families with mixed ages.
- Brian YoungSo Much Better Than a Regular Tour
The activities and exclusive access made this stand out from other tours we’ve done. The kids learned without even realizing it.

The priority entry was a huge plus with kids. We avoided the long lines and got straight to the fun.
- Heather WalkerThe Kids Loved Exploring the Forum
The open space was perfect for them to wander while still learning. The guide tied every ruin to the stories in the booklet.

No rushing, no boredom, just lots of laughs and learning. The pins are now proudly displayed on their backpacks.
- AmityAn Engaging Experience for Young Minds
We chose this tour because it was geared toward kids, and it exceeded our expectations. The activity books were well thought out, and our 9-year-old daughter was so proud to complete hers. Walking on the arena floor felt magical.
