Family tour at the Vatican
We had a great time on the tour. We were a challenging group because we had a big day the day prior and the children were tired but Michela did a fantastic job of trying to engage them. She was a wonderful guide and we would highly recommend.
- Santo FamilyWonderful company
Thank you very much for your wonderful company. We posted 5 star reviews on TripAdvisor but I did want to express directly to you how much my family and I enjoyed and appreciated the tour that Livia gave us of the Vatican. She was a knowledgeable and kind guide. Her tour was a highlight of our visit to Rome.
- Jim G.Great family tour
We very much enjoyed our tour at the Vatican with Raf - she was friendly, informative and patient as we sometimes dawdled through the wonders of the Vatican, trying to soak up everything! It was an added bonus for the kids to get some materials to take home to remind them of their visit. It was also great to see some parts of the Vatican that were 'just for us’ as LivTours participants. Thanks LivTour team for an unforgettable experience!
- MichelleBest part of the trip!
Our two kids, 7 and 9, say this Vatican tour has been the best part of their Rome trip. Alex was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and always kept the kids engaged with interesting facts, games and answering their questions. Five stars!
- AndresDavide rocks!
Boy are we glad we booked this tour! The kids would have been bored and cranky with all the miles to walk and artwork that goes a bit over their heads. But with LivTour's Davide, he had them eating out of his hand for the entire tour! They were excited to take part in his treasure hunts, "where's wally"-kind of games, questions that were really stimulating for them and that provoked them to really use their imaginations. They chattered about how much fun they had and how much they had learned throughout dinner that night. This was money extremely well spent!!
- ChystalVatican with 10 year olds
The meeting point was easy. And our guild was very knowledgeable and happy to be guiding us around. I would highly recommend Raf. She was great at engaging our two 10 year old kids, asking them questions and answering ALL of theirs (no easy feat). She took and sent us a great family photo, which made our experience that much more memorable. Wonderful experience for all of us!
- ShellyWe were very pleased
My family and I spent a wonderful morning with Davide, our Livitaly tour guide, exploring the Vatican, including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peters Basilica. He had an incredible depth of knowledge and shared it in an engaging and pleasant way. He really connected with the kids and was able to impart the information in a way that made it fun and easy to digest. He navigated the crowds with skill and a very pleasant demeanor.
- WolfgangVatican for families
We took the Vatican for family tour since we were traveling with our pre-teen children. Dennis was really excellent, both for his vast knowledge but also for his ability with the kids. We absolutely loved his tour style and delivery and we have all gone away with very fond memories. Highly recommend.
- WandaGreat experience for all of us
Silvia was our guide for the Family Vatican tour offered by LivItaly. We could not have been more pleased. She was wonderful, so bright and well educated on the history and the artwork. Silvia really brought the Vatican to life for our children and for us adults as well, I can not imaging trying to really absorb and comprehend all that we were seeing with out her commentary. If we would have been in Rome longer, we would have definitely used LivItaly again.
- ChrystalDefinitely worth it!
We were traveling as a family with kids (ages from 11 to 15) so thought it better to book a family oriented tour. Jade was a our guide and she was fantastic! She took us through the Vatican museum and pointed out the highlights of the art and how they connected to each other and to history, with a special emphasis on the importance of the Sistine Chapel. All very easy to understand, no matter the age. Had we gone through on our own, we would have simply been overwhelmed by the amount of art and architecture and not been able to appreciate it. The kids would have been bored to death! Jade did a great job shepherding us through the crowds, answering our questions, and making sure we ALL enjoyed the tour.
