A Perfect Blend of Culture, Cycling, and Cava
We booked the Private Bicycle Tour with LivTours for our first evening in Barcelona, and it couldn’t have been better. Our guide, Elena, was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and full of fun anecdotes about the city’s transformation before and after the 1992 Olympics. Sipping cava by the sea as the sun set was simply magical.
- Sarah WhitmanFamily-Friendly and Wonderfully Relaxed
Traveling with two teenagers, we were thrilled at how engaging this tour was for everyone. Marco made history come alive as we biked through Parc de la Ciutadella and past the Arc de Triomf. The cava stop was a nice touch for the adults while the kids enjoyed the beach views. Perfect way to start our Barcelona trip!
- Laura JenningsA Beautiful Evening Ride Through History
I was impressed by how much ground we covered in just a few hours without ever feeling rushed. From the elegant yachts at the Inner Harbor to the artistic energy of the Born neighborhood, everything was seamless. Ending with cava by the water was pure bliss.
- David TurnerBarcelona’s Magic on Two Wheels
This private bike tour gave us a completely different perspective of the city. Our guide Giulia showed us hidden corners near the Mercat del Born and explained its fascinating archaeological history. The cava tasting at sunset was the highlight of our honeymoon!
- Maria SantosRelaxing, Informative, and Beautifully Organized
My husband and I are not regular cyclists, but the pace was comfortable and the route was well-planned. We especially enjoyed riding along the tree-lined paths near Ciutadella Park. The cava break overlooking the Mediterranean was a perfect ending. Highly recommend LivTours for private experiences.
- Robert HayesBarcelona’s Best Evening Experience
This was easily the best thing we did in Barcelona. Cruising through the city as the sun went down, feeling the sea breeze, and learning about the city’s past—all perfection. The cava stop felt special and intimate. Thank you, LivTours, for such a polished experience.
- James O’NeillEngaging, Educational, and Fun for All Ages
We took this tour as a multigenerational family—our parents, ourselves, and our 10-year-old son. Everyone loved it. The bikes were easy to handle, and Elena kept the stories light but meaningful. The cava tasting (and juice for our son) by the beach was delightful.
- Michelle CarpenterPrivate Luxury Without the Crowds
Having a private guide was a real treat. We could stop often for photos, and Luca adjusted the route to focus on more artistic parts of the city since we love design. Seeing the Roy Lichtenstein sculpture up close was a highlight.
- Kelly AndersonSunset Ride Worth Every Minute
Our evening tour with Chiara was an absolute dream. The light over the Mediterranean was golden as we sipped cava near Barceloneta. I loved the balance of art, architecture, and relaxed cycling. It felt both luxurious and down-to-earth.
- Jonathan ReedFrom Roman Ruins to Modern Marvels
Who knew a bike tour could be so enriching? Davide connected ancient history with modern architecture effortlessly. The stop at the Born Market, where Roman ruins were uncovered, was a real surprise. We loved learning how the 1992 Olympics reshaped the city.
