Trip of a life time!

We went on a tour of Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. Our guide at Pompeii knew SO much information and taught us tons. Our driver was also amazing, and he took us to an amazing lunch spot. This tour was everything we could have wished for, and made our first trip to Italy so special. Can’t thank this company enough. It was a trip we will never forget!

Wonderful Day Trip from Rome to Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius

We had the most wonderful day in Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. There were 5 of us, and we had a very comfortable trip in the sprinter van. Our guide knew so much information, so we were able to learn tons. The ruins were beautiful. We did lunch and a wine tasting at a winery and then climbed up Mt Vesuvius. It was an adventure and it was such a fun time.

When we were researching for a tour of Pompeii, we decided to book with LivItaly because they offered a Pompeii AND Mount Vesuvius tour. We were picked up from our hotel in Rome and drove in comfort down to Pompeii. There, our private guide, took us to the highlights of this ancient city and was so enthusiastic and passionate, we really could feel those ancient times come alive. Then on to Mount Vesuvius where we hiked up to the top and looked down into the crater. The views of the southern italian countryside and Naples bay were just breathtaking. We were extremely pleased with this tour and will recommend it to everyone we know.
