Amazing tour!

This was the first tour we did in Rome, and we highly recommend it! Leonardo, our tour guide (who is also an archaeologist), is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history behind every place we visited. Without this tour, you’d miss so many important facts and stories that truly bring the sites to life.

Simply Beautiful

I can’t recommend this tour enough. From sipping espresso at dawn to tossing a coin into an almost-empty Trevi Fountain, every moment felt cinematic. LivTours really nailed the balance of intimacy and expertise.

Seeing Rome Before the Crowds

As someone who dislikes large groups, this was ideal. Only five of us in total, and our guide Davide tailored his stories to our interests. The Pantheon felt especially spiritual in the morning quiet.

Wonderful with Kids

We did this with our 10- and 13-year-olds, and they both loved it. The guide kept them engaged with fun facts about Roman emperors and fountains. Having croissants and coffee before we set out was a clever way to start.

Magical Start to the Day

Our little group of six had Rome’s highlights nearly to ourselves. The sound of church bells as we approached the Pantheon at dawn was something I’ll never forget. LivTours did an excellent job organizing everything.

A Must-Do in Rome

This was recommended to me by a friend, and I’m so glad I booked it. Walking into an almost-empty Piazza Navona felt like a private experience. Our guide, Chiara, was warm and incredibly knowledgeable.

Great Balance of History and Atmosphere

The combination of a light breakfast, walking tour, and detailed history was just right. I especially loved learning about the Pantheon’s dome and watching the sunlight stream through the oculus. The timing made it magical.

Best Way to Beat the Heat

Traveling in August, we really appreciated the cool morning air. Our group of five had plenty of space and attention from Giulia, who clearly loves her city. By the time the tour ended, the crowds were only just arriving.

Trevi Fountain Without the Chaos

I’ll never forget hearing the water of the Trevi Fountain without the constant hum of tourists. Our guide Marco told the fascinating story behind the aqueducts that still feed it. It was magical and serene.

Early Start, Big Reward

I dragged my college-age daughter out of bed for this, and even she admitted it was worth it. We got incredible photos at the Trevi Fountain and she loved learning quirky legends from our guide Luca. Breakfast was a nice touch to start the day.
