Amazing Walk Through History!

Will was our LivTours guide when we visited the Louvre during Thanksgiving 2022 and he was just great! The Louvre has so much ground to cover and tens of thousands of art pieces. Will smartly guided us to the most interesting, biggest pieces and explained their respective historic or artistic significance. Will is certainly a history enthusiast which pairs with my interest. My wife and I really liked the tour. Kudos to Will, we highly recommend him - he is great and we highly recommend the tour itself.

Anthony was great and really showed his love for The Louvre today. We all feel that we had an experience that was accentuated by Anthony’s notice to the often, overlooked details in each piece we talked about. We really enjoyed our time at the louvre and would highly recommend your tour to others!

Doing the Louvre with a LivTour guide

We can highly recommend this tour and this tour company. We have booked other tours with them in other cities around Europe and we have never been disappointed. The Louvre tour is a must!! You won't get as much out of it if you don't take a tour. The LivTour guides are always superb, professional, well prepared and always very friendly. The Louvre is awesome! But we were soooo glad we had booked a tour to see it. And not just any tour but LivTours small group tour. We got (and saw) the best of the best! A wonderful guide to help navigate the endless galleries and crowds, a small intimate group where we could hear everything the guide was saying and could make friends with the others in the group and, last but not least, seeing the greatest artwork ever! You can book this tour without any doubts! It's the best way to see the Louvre!!

Take this tour!

You will get so much more out of the Louvre if you take this tour. Everything was very well done: the guide (an art historian) was excellent and also very warm and friendly, our group was made up of only 5 people, we were expertly guided through this HUGE museum in order to see the most important pieces yet there was plenty of attention to taking rest stops and bathroom stops. We couldn't have been happier with this tour and encourage you to book it rather than trying to see the museum on your own or in a large group.

Best experience

This was really a small group tour, as advertised. There were only 4 of us, plus our guide, so the whole experience was very personal and friendly. In that kind of atmosphere, it was so much easier to really appreciate the great artwork that we were being shown! The museum is huge but our guide was great about showing us to the most important works and giving us background information that made it so much more meaningful. I felt sorry for the people wondering around by themselves as well as for the people being herded in big groups with those annoying headphones. Our experience was so much better!!

Best (and only) way to see the Louvre

My traveling companions were so happy I had insisted we book a tour to see the Louvre. I had been to Paris once before and tried to see the museum on my own so I knew what was in store. After the tour we took with LivParis, I realized all that I had missed on my first visit. Our guide was so knowledgeable and shared so many interesting insights into the works of art. We did alot of walking but we didn't just see; we were able to really appreciate all of the famous pieces. We all agreed it was the best way to see the Louvre!

Take a tour of the Louvre..it really makes a difference

We can highly recommend this tour for your visit to the Louvre. It is a gigantic museum with gobs of art and sculpture. I know that if we had tried to visit it without a guide, we wouldn't have enjoyed the experience half as much as we did on this tour! We learned so much but, best of all, we came away with wonderful memories of our experience and of the great things we had seen.

Awesome experience

Seeing the Louvre is on everyone's must-do list so you can't avoid the crowds. But we found that taking LivParis' Louvre tour really made the experience easy and very pleasant. Our guide Ferit was fantastic! He navigated the crowds and the MANY galleries so that we were able to see the most important masterpieces without having to elbow our way around. He would take us into quiet corners to give us info and details about what we would see and was always very attentive to our needs. The entire experience was just perfect!

Worth every penny

This was my second visit to the Louvre and it was so much more meaningful when done with the LivParis guide. We were in a group of 4 so it was very easy for the guide to navigate the crowds and she really helped us to appreciate the artworks that we were seeing. I felt I got so much more out of this visit than the first time so I truly recommend that you book this tour instead of trying to do it on your own.
