Romantic Escape Outside the City
Just wow. Riding together through olive groves and vineyards felt like a dream. The staff at the vineyard were generous with their pours and gave us tips on local producers. Would highly recommend this as a couple’s activity.
- Emily and Steven WuFrom Florence to the Hills — Unforgettable
The contrast between busy Florence and the serene hills of Chianti was striking. I loved being able to relax and soak it all in from horseback. The cellar tour was very informative — I now know what DOCG means! Thanks, Davide, for your kindness and patience throughout.
- Amanda S.Nature, Wine, and Warm Hospitality
I was deeply impressed by how personal this tour felt. Only a small group, and the hosts at the vineyard made us feel like part of the family. I’d never been on a horse before, but it was easier than I expected. Gorgeous weather helped too!
- EdwardChianti by Horseback — YES Please!
What a unique way to explore Tuscany. The trail was quiet and scenic, and we even passed a small medieval village I hadn’t read about in guidebooks. Our guide, Luca, was engaging and had lots of local stories to share. Ended up shipping home a case of wine!
- DominicMagical Moments in the Tuscan Sun
Trotting through wildflower meadows in Tuscany was a bucket list moment. The ride was the perfect length and not too strenuous. Our guide Chiara even pointed out wild herbs growing along the path. The Sangiovese we tasted with lunch? Chef’s kiss.
- VanessaHorseback riding review
The wine tasting and lunch was spectacular. Delicious food and hospitable and knowledgeable hosts. The horseback riding hosts were rude and dismissive. The ride was said to last two hours and lasted under an hour. The guide spoke no English and the women who did speak English was very rude and made us feel like we were a burden to them for being there. We paid quite a lot of money for the experience and were disappointed specifically in the horseback riding portion. Everything else was wonderful, particularly our driver, Gabrielle, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and warm.
- EricaA Storybook Day in Chianti
This was like riding through a movie set. The horses were gentle and easy to handle (even for beginners), and the vineyard lunch was my favorite meal in Italy. Marco, our tour guide, had so many great anecdotes about the history of Chianti wines. I’d give it 6 stars if I could.
- James HollowayLuxury, Nature, and Wine – A Dream Combo
We were looking for something different from the typical museum tours, and this exceeded expectations. The views on horseback were surreal — golden fields, vineyards, even wildflowers in bloom. The wine tasting was professional yet relaxed, and our lunch paired perfectly with the Chianti Classico. Worth every euro!
- Simone KellerA Peaceful Escape from Florence
If you want a break from the city crowds, this tour is for you. The rolling hills and quiet forest paths we rode through felt untouched. Our driver, Davide, was punctual and friendly, and the vineyard staff treated us like old friends. The truffle pasta during lunch was out of this world.
- Madison AlvarezPerfect Anniversary Day
My husband and I booked this for our 10th anniversary and we couldn’t have picked a better experience. Horseback riding through vineyards while birds chirped around us was incredibly romantic. The wine tasting after was generous, and we left with a bottle of their 2019 reserve. Thanks to Giulia for making the day so memorable!
