Magical Morning Through the Canals
We met near the Rialto Market as the city was waking up—boats unloading produce, locals greeting each other—it felt like stepping into another time. Our guide, Andrea, wove together history and everyday life beautifully. A small group, a gentle pace, and a city like no other.
- Paulo da CostaEducational and Fun for Kids
We brought our 10-year-old and 13-year-old, and they actually paid attention! The guide used maps and old photos to show how Venice has changed, which fascinated them. Ending at St. Mark’s gave us time to explore the area afterward on our own.
- Rebecca FordA Glimpse of the Real Venice
I appreciated that this wasn’t just about the famous landmarks. Our guide took us to small squares where Venetians were shopping and chatting—it felt very local. The contrast between the quiet backstreets and the grandeur of St. Mark’s Square was unforgettable.
- Tom HernandezWorth Every Step
As someone who doesn’t love walking tours, I was surprised how much I enjoyed this. The small group meant no waiting around, and our guide’s storytelling made time fly. The view from the Rialto Bridge was even more stunning than the postcards.
- Patricia NguyenThe Perfect Balance of Culture and Charm
We joined the Highlights of Venice Walking Tour with our college-aged son and daughter, and everyone was captivated. The guide made history approachable without dumbing it down. Seeing where Marco Polo grew up felt surreal. We’ve done several LivTours, and this one ranks at the top.
- Martin O’LearyVenice With Heart and Humor
This was my favorite tour during our Italian vacation! Our guide, Giulia, was hilarious and full of little-known facts—like how some of Venice’s bridges have hidden symbols from the 1500s. We even ducked into a quiet courtyard where a local artist was painting. A truly authentic experience.
- Brenda ThomasIntimate and Insightful Experience
Our group had just four people, which made the tour feel very personal. The stories behind the Rialto Bridge and the Doge’s Palace really stuck with me. Our guide’s passion for his city was infectious—you could tell he loved what he does.
- Jonathan WardA Wonderful Morning in Venice
We took this tour on our second day and were so glad we did. It helped us make sense of Venice’s layout and history, which made exploring later much easier. Our guide gave us tips on where locals actually eat, away from the crowds. Lovely small group and great energy.
- Sarah LiuCaptivating and Well Organized
This LivTours experience exceeded expectations. From the moment we met in Campo San Giacometto, everything ran smoothly. Our guide had an incredible knowledge of Venetian architecture and history but also added plenty of humor. St. Mark’s Basilica was the showstopper.
- Michael BeckerGreat for Families
We traveled with our two teens, and they surprisingly loved it! The guide, Lucia, managed to keep them interested with funny stories about old Venetian families and rivalries. Crossing the Rialto Bridge together felt iconic, and she even pointed out the best gelato shop nearby.
