Great Guide!

First, I must say that our guide, Matteo, was personable, very informative, and had a good sense of humor. We saw many beautiful rooms and objects. However, even though it was a morning tour, we should have gone earlier—not the tour operator's fault, we just didn't anticipate how crowded it would be. There was no lingering, as even the security guards kept pushing everyone to keep moving. You will definitely see the highlights, but it's best to go as early as possible!

Great Tour

Fantastic tour with an excellent guide. The small group size made it feel very intimate. We saw a lot and received great information. Skipping the long lines made the experience much more enjoyable.

Smooth and easy

Stefano took us on a comprehensive tour through the Vatican Museums, the Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s. In our group of six, several of us had visited before, and Stefano did a great job correlating what we would have already seen with new rooms and passages that have only recently opening to the public. Stefano is very knowledgeable about art history and the many artifacts and time periods represented in the museums. We really enjoyed our tour and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again. Highly recommended.

Informative, Organized Tour

My family and I enjoyed this tour. Our guide Paola did a great job of keeping us engaged and informed of the highlights. We were fully immersed for the 3 hours of the tour and our guide made adjustments when necessary due to crowd control circumstances. Thank you, Paola.

The very best!

My husband and I took this small group tour with Silvia and were so so glad that we did. Silvia is very personable and so knowledgeable that my husband asked if she had a background or education in art history. She gave us all kinds of fun facts related to the paintings that we would never have known on our own. And she was like a mother hen always making sure we could see her. We went in November and at times the crowds were so dense it was a good thing she was attentive to us. I can’t imagine going in a busier season in a big group. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Five stars all the way.

My husband and I enjoyed our tour with Giovanna. She was sweet and knowledgeable and you can tell she had a passion for her job. This company is amazing and helped me reschedule this from a trip that was planned in 2020. Worth every penny!

Wonderful memories

My wife and I greatly appreciated Sylvia's tour of the Vatican. She gave us wondeful insight and context into the works and entertained us with her storytelling abilities and sense of humor. She's very knowledgable and helpful. We also appreciated how well Sylvia manuevered us through the dense crowds and got us to the important places promptly but politely. Thank you very much for a wonderful memory!

Highlight of our trip

Alessandro was a phenomenal guide on our Vatican Highlights tour! He was so knowledgeable and such a great person on top of that. We learned so much. We could never have understood the significance of what we were seeing without him explaining not only what a painting was for instance but why it was at that location. So glad we took the tour!

Greatest tour

Our tour of the Vatican with Paola was amazing! She really brought the scene to life with her stories and animation and wit. Well done and organized. She also managed to make sure we got into the Basilica just before it closed.

Best Vatican tour

We booked the Vatican highlights tour with LivTours and our guide was Luisa. She was absolutely phenomenal! She's incredibly knowledgeable and hilarious ! We loved her and the entire tour! Would highly recommend!
