Best tour guide of the trip! Vatican Museum

This was a wonderful and very thorough tour! Our tour guide, Georgio, made it so fun and entertaining and really brought the museum and church to life. We had kids with us and they really enjoyed Georgio and he made it a great day for them.... very accommodating for stops and kept their attention and interest throughout the day. We all agreed that Georgio was the best tour guide we had on our entire trip! He was so nice and made it a wonderful day for us! We got to see everything we had wanted to in the Vatican, and really enjoyed our time in the Basilica. It was beautiful and having a guide was very helpful to understand the full magnitude of this massive church and museum. Grazie, Georgio and LivTours.

Vatican experience

We truly loved our tour of the Vatican Museums with Maria Gabriella. Her knowledge of the Vatican Museum was impressive. Despite the large crowds in a few rooms, Maria Gabriella remained composed and "en pointe” and was able to navigate the room quickly. We learned so much from her extensive knowledge of the Museum’s art and history. She brought the collection to life through her exceptional gift of storytelling. Highly recommend!

Alessandra & Highlights of Vatican were great!

Alessandra (Ally) was our tour guide for the “Highlights of Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St.Peter’s Basilica” (max 6 people). We did our tour on our last day in Rome, August 2 Saturday at 2:30 pm. Ally was awesome! Was very knowledgeable & professional. Answered our questions (including from the pre-teen boy in our group) without being condescending. She really pointed out the highlights, interesting historical backgrounds & current status of items in this truly-packed tour. She knew the good spots where to take photos. Thank you, Ally & LivTours, for making our 1st-ever Vatican visit a memorable one! Extra thanks to Ally for maximizing our limited time at the Vatican!

Best guide ever

Our guide Rebecca (Becky) was extremely knowledgable and passionate about Roman history and it showed through in abundance in her tour. She was able to bring depth to the stories and made the 3 hours pass by all too quickly. One other person joined our family group but we all had ample time to ask as many questions as we wanted and to linger over those sights we wanted to spend more time with. The tour gave us quick access into St Peter’s which we were grateful for in the intense heat. Overall it was definitely value for money, and I would recommend it to friends particularly if they’re lucky enough to have Becky.

Semi private tour with Ribal

Ribal gave a great tour of the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica! He provided in-depth insight into so many aspects of both places. It’s impossible to see/appreciate it all due to the crowds - but Ribal gets you the best looks he can. Not the fault of him/LIV tours - but bring your patience. It’s very crowded and they run people through like cattle. It helps so much to have someone who can point out the highlights as well as the interesting little things you would miss on your own.

Barbara was AMAZING!!

Our tour ended up being a private tour since there was 5 of us. Because of that, Barbara was able to customize our tour. My youngest daughter wanted to see the mummies in the Vatican, and that was our first stop! Barbara was very patient with my inquisitive 9 year old. Barbara was very knowledgeable and was able to explain so many details to us that we would have otherwise missed. I would highly recommend LivTours!

The Magic of Massimo

Our tour with Massimo was wonderful. He makes art and history a unique combination of expertise with wit and humor - and fantastic facts. We were engaged every minute and he was so aware of our small group. I highly recommend this person and this particular small group tour! Bravo 👏
