The best choice for seeing Rome on a busy day

There's so much to see! After my last trip to Rome I regretted not seeing some important historic places. This time, I wanted to get more out of my trip. But how to decide which things I wanted to see in a short time. What was worth a quick look and photo vs those I would want to spend more time at? Enter Emanuele, his golf cart, and bonus - a great group of lovely people. We zipped around quietly as Emanuele shared his enthusiasm for the sights and history of Rome. He made sure we got photos (the only part of my solo trip where I have pics of myself) and had great views. The Trevi fountain was packed but he got us close by/less than a block away to see it by stopping the golf cart in a parking area. I really appreciated that he and other guides do their best to give a good experience and also be mindful. Bonus: On the way back I ended up sampling candy coated chocolates filled with limoncello and making a quick purchase as the others were a few minutes behind. (They didn't even make it home) This tour helped me discover some of the areas I wanted to explore on my own and avoid the ones that would have (for me) been a waste of time. I was also given advice about visiting the Pantheon and I'm so thankful I added it because there was an impromptu choir singing there when I went. Unforgettable. Take the tour on your first day if possible. If you are only in Rome a short time or have a layover this is a must to enjoy the open air museum that is Rome.

Such a Great Tour with Luka! Don't miss it!

Wow! What a perfect way to get an overview of the major sites in Rome! Our guide Luka was incredibly entertaining and knowledgeable. He made us all feel as if we were old friends and his enthusiasm and love of Rome made the excursion so much fun. Along the way to the major sites, he took us to a few spots off the beaten path with amazing views. We would never have found them on our own. We can't recommend this tour enough. It was definitely one of highlights of our trip! Thank you so much, Luka! You were wonderful!

Golf Kart Tour - Semi Private

22nd May 2025 What can I say! Luka (our host/tour guide) is simply brilliant, he is funny, knowledgeable and very engaging. He oozes enthusiasm and made us all feel as if we had known him forever. It's obvious he loves Roma. During our trip around the city, amongst seeing some of the more famous attractions he also took us to a few off the beaten track sites, where some of the views were amazing. We would never have found them on our own. We highly recommend this tour; it was one of the top highlights of our 5-night stay in Rome. Luka, I hope you see this, you were absolutely wonderful. Chiara was great

Chiara did a fantastic job taking us around Rome. She is very knowledgeable of the history and backround of all the sites throwing in some humor to boot. You can't go wrong if you get her as your guide.

Great great tour

Francesco was a friendly, very knowledgeable guide. We hit a lot of great spots which we would not have been able to do during our short stay. Just 6 of us plus Francesco, great weather. I highly recommend this tour.

Great morning tour!

I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to cover a lot of Roma without a lot of walking. A great first-day-introduction to Roma. Luca, our guide/driver, was knowledgeable and personable. Meeting point was easy to find, and it was a full 3-hour tour.

The Golf Cart Tour was a wonderful way to hit the highlights in Rome

We thoroughly enjoyed our golf cart three hour tour of Rome with Andy! Andy was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and he navigated the city expertly, which is likely no small feat in a golf cart. We could not have asked for a more knowledgeable or entertaining tour guide! The golf cart was a great way to quickly move from place to place, and having the open air in the heat was lovely (there were also heavy see-through plastic panels that could have been rolled down in case of rain or chill). All in all, this was a delightful way to see as many sights as possible within a tight time frame. I would absolutely recommend and would do it again.

Efficient, fun and informative tour!

Each of my hard to please family members thought the tour was excellent (including 7 month old Lainey-I will speak for her) We saw everything is a short amount of time. Simone was knowledgeable, personable, thoughtful and considerate of what our group might need. We appreciated him taking pics of our group and taking us to the overlook of the city, and being flexible about where we went! This was a perfect way to see the city on a hot August day! Amazing Tour!

The tour this morning with Emmanuel was spectacular. We saw the highlights but also got to see hidden gems that we had never seen before after being here many times before. Can’t recommend this enough!

So much fun with Luca!

We did the golf cart tour and drinks with Luca and had so much fun! He was very kind and gave a lot of great information about the sights around Rome. Definitely book this tour!
