Kids Loved It!
We brought our 10-year-old son and 13-year-old daughter, and they were completely absorbed in the process. The chef kept them involved by letting them mash potatoes and shape gnocchi. The look on their faces when they tasted what they made was priceless. Dessert cookies didn’t last long on the table!
- Melissa TurnerCooking Class with Heart
What struck me most was the passion of our chef, Giulia. She shared stories of her grandmother making gnocchi by hand, which made the experience even more meaningful. The market felt lively and authentic, and the small class size meant plenty of interaction. It was the perfect way to spend an afternoon in Rome.
- Jonathan PriceA Culinary Highlight of Rome
We’ve done food tours before, but this was in a class of its own. Our chef Chiara made sure each of us had personal attention at our own workstation. The gnocchi were fluffy and light, the zucchini side dish we made was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. Highly recommend.
- Amanda HughesMarket to Table Perfection
The market visit was eye-opening – so many locals buying their daily produce. Davide explained the Roman saying “Giovedì Gnocchi,” which made cooking them feel even more special. The gnocchi with fresh tomato sauce was unforgettable, and the dessert wine pairing was a wonderful surprise.
- Patrick CollinsCooking with New Friends
What I loved most was how quickly our group of six bonded. By the time we were enjoying our gnocchi with wine, it felt like dining with friends we’d known for years. The chef kept things lighthearted and informative, balancing history with hands-on guidance. This was truly la dolce vita.
- Rachel KingA Taste of Real Rome
We didn’t just cook – we lived like Romans for a day. Elena took us through the market, where we sampled fresh cheese and picked out vegetables. Then, back in the studio, we learned how simple ingredients can create extraordinary flavors. I’ll never forget the aroma of basil filling the kitchen.
- Daniel MorrisMarket Magic, Kitchen Fun
Mercato Trionfale was bustling, but our chef Luca navigated it with ease, pointing out seasonal specialties and sharing stories about Roman traditions. Cooking afterward in the sleek LivTours kitchen was hands-on and interactive. The cantucci dipped in vin santo at the end was the perfect finish.
- Thomas RileyA Family Memory We’ll Cherish
We joined with our two teenage daughters, and it was easily their favorite part of Rome. They loved rolling the gnocchi dough (though not all their shapes were perfect!). The market visit gave us an authentic glimpse of daily life in the city, and the small group size kept everything engaging. Dessert with vin santo felt like a reward for a job well done.
- Karen WhiteLearning the Art of Gnocchi
This semi-private experience felt both intimate and fun. Giulia took us through the bustling market, introducing us to her favorite vendors and helping us choose fresh basil and tomatoes. Later, in the modern kitchen, we turned those ingredients into something truly special. It was a beautiful mix of culture, food, and community.
- Christopher AdamsMarket Stroll and Perfect Gnocchi
The Mercato Trionfale was incredible – so many colors, scents, and friendly vendors. Our chef Marco explained which potatoes work best for gnocchi and why. In the kitchen, he guided us through each step with patience, and by the end we had the most delicate dumplings. Pairing them with wine and finishing with vin santo made it a real Roman feast.
