Fun learning from a gelato master

This class is fantastic! Vetulio Bondi is a master. He explains the history and chemistry of gelato - but it’s fun and entertaining. You make 1 sorbet and 1 gelato, and both are so delicious. Highly recommended!

Gelato from a master!

Sig, Bondi is an insane gelato maker and showman. The class was very informational and so much fun that the time flew by. His recipe and information about gelato will make for lots of gelato when we get home. And LivTours made the booking super easy.

Must do authentic Gelato making experience when in Florence!

We went to the Gelato making class and it was just us with the master of Gelato, Tulio Bondi at his famous Gelato store, Gelati del Bondi in Florence! It was one of our favorite parts of visiting Florence. It was amazing learning everything about gelato from someone who is so passionate about it. We couldn’t have asked for a better rime. It was a very fun class where we actually got to make gelato ourselves! And we got to be the taste testers of the gelato we made! BIG thank you to Tulio! We loved this ! Such a special memory on our honeymoon!

A very unique experience for all

If you are looking for fun activities for the whole family, this is a tour we can strongly recommend. Making gelato is actually fun and interesting to all of us but, as you can imagine, the kids (ours are ages 10 and 13) had a blast! AND, they learned a whole lot of fun facts about gelato that they can't wait to tell their friends. Their memories of Florence will be special, thanks to this company's unique tour!

Another great family experience

The gelato making class was another one of the Family Experiences that we booked through LivItaly while in Florence with our kids (ages 7, 9 and 11). Of course, it was a smashing success with the kids and we all learned alot about what goes into gelato, what makes it different than ice cream and how many different (even wierd) tastes can be invented. We also booked the Family tour of the Uffizi gallery and it was a smashing success. Thank you, LivItaly! We will all remember Florence very fondly thanks to you.

Delicious fun!

We brought our two grandchildren with us on our trip to Italy. We knew that it wouldn't be fair to expect them to go to museums and tours every single day so we researched possible "fun" things for them. The gelato making class in Florence was one of our best choices. The girls loved the class, loved being involved in making gelato and learned all sorts of interesting facts which they couldn't wait to share with their family and friends. We highly recommend this opportunity especially if you have kids with you.

Great family experience

We tried to find special things to do that the kids could really enjoy and remember during our trip to Italy. The gelato making class was probably everyone's favorite. The instructor was very nice and we all learned things we didn't know before about gelato. Needless to say the kids had an awesome time!

What's better than gelato?

Our whole family had a great time at the gelato making class. Of course, nothing could be better for the kids but even we adults had a blast and we learned all sorts of new things too. This is a great idea for families.
