Great Intro to Florence

We really enjoyed the Florence Walking Tour—our guide was knowledgeable and made the history come alive. The small group made the experience feel personal and relaxed. The only downside was that we didn’t get to go inside the Duomo, which was a bit disappointing. Still, a great way to explore the city’s highlights!

Fabulous Florence Tour with Silvia

We took this walking history tour of Florence with Silvia and had a wonderful time. Silvia is FULL of rich information about Florence and the artwork/architecture. We learned SO much and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area!

Florence walking tour

This was our third tour with LivTours in Italy, which have all been great. Had a wonderful tour with Costanza with LivTours for the Florence walking tour. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the tour at a good pace. We were able to see many highlights in Florence and learn a lot about the history. I Any questions we had she knew the answers to. Lived hearing about the history of Ponte Vechio and the Medici family. Highly recommend.

The David is beautiful!

Lara is an informative guide. She took care to make sure she pulled us to a shaded area often and when seating was available, she’d have us sit down to relax for a minute while she discussed an area of Florence. She knew the perfect spots to take us in to view the David, an incredible experience. We were able to see a lot of the city during our first visit to Florence with Lara.

Wonderful walking tour of Florence

Emilia was awesome! She was so knowledgeable and super fun. She had so much energy and pointed out so many wonderful things. We're very happy with our tour and would highly recommend her.

Florence Walking Tour City Highlights with David & Duomo | Private Tour

We chose the 10am walking tour. I was a bit worried due to the heatwave but we managed. We even were fortunate to have our semi-private get turned into a private tour, because the other group canceled, due to the heat. Our guide, Iurica, was a complete joy to be with. She is a veteran tour guide who frequently, along our tour, was stopped by fellow Florentinos who wished her well. She was like the Mary Poppins of Florence. She does a great job at using story in her descriptions of the places, history, and city culture. I also liked that she didn't mind politely speaking out if fellow tourists weren't acting appropriately. She used the term, speaking "cheeky" to them. It may sound strange but I think she has had many past lives as a Florentina. lol. Very soulful person. Expert tour guide. Highly recommend!

Fantastic tour with Caterina

Our tour with Caterina was terrific! A great walk to the top sights- we learned so much about this beautiful city, including Michelangelo and David. As Caterina is from Florence and has been a guide for 12years, she is a font of knowledge and enthusiasm. Much appreciated!

Informative, intriguing, and well paced

Guilia was an absolute JOY to have as a tour guide! She had such a wealth of information to share with us. She was friendly, took her time with us, and kept the tour interesting! Highly recommend Guilia!!! This tour required a high level of attention because there was so much information, and it moved in a quick manner. This tour calls for you to stand on your feet the entire time, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and be ready to move! It was amazing to learn just how much history Florence holds! Wow!! What an incredible city! The only thing I really wish could've been included in this tour was a skip-the-line ticket INTO the Duomo. Though "Duomo" is mentioned in the title of this tour, it does NOT include a walk through the inside of the Duomo. We were only able to walk around the outside of it and given the history. Overall, I highly recommed this tour, especially doing the semi-private or private option. Liv Tours was an excellent company to book through. They were great with communication, provided highly-trained and educated tour guides, and the prices were very reasonable.
