Wonderful Day in Florence

Florence is an amazing city. On the morning tour of the Uffizi Gallery Raffaela guided us through all the highlights with her extensive knowledge of the masterpieces and history of the gallery. In the afternoon we explored the streets, piazzas and major sites of Florence including the Accademia, statue of David and other art masterpieces. Monica shared the history and stories of Florence. And the skip the line entrance saved waiting in line in the hot sun. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Raffaela and Monica.

Florence and Lurica are Gems

The Tour was the best tour I had during my two week trip. Lurica was incredibly knowledgeable about the City, the History and Art in general. She taught me so much about art as we toured the Uffizi, which added context to the artwork and artists in a way that I could not have done on my own. Silvia was an exceptional guide throughout our day in Florence. She made our Uffizi Gallery tour unforgettable by sharing captivating stories and insightful details behind each masterpiece, helping us appreciate the history and possible meanings of the artwork in a way that felt personal and enriching. The walking tour of Florence was equally impressive, as Silvia expertly explained the significance of the city's major landmarks, all while making sure we had plenty of time to take in the sights and snap photos. To cap off our day, we visited the iconic David statue, standing at an awe-inspiring 17 feet tall, and even got to see Michelangelo’s unfinished marble works up close. Silvia’s passion, knowledge, and thoughtful pacing made this tour a perfect blend of education, culture, and unforgettable moments.

A Highlight of Our Italy Trip

Marco had such depth of knowledge about both art and architecture. I especially appreciated how he explained Brunelleschi’s Dome in simple terms that even I could follow. The day was enlightening.

Engaging for All Ages

We traveled with grandparents and two teens, and everyone had a wonderful time. Our guide balanced the explanations so they worked for all of us. Seeing Michelangelo’s Doni Tondo was an unexpected highlight.

Rich with Stories and Details

Elena pointed out things I never would have noticed on my own, like hidden symbols in Botticelli’s paintings. I walked away with a much deeper appreciation for Florence.
