If You Love Chocolate, Don’t Miss This Tour

The whole experience was fantastic, but the Mozart Ball at the end completely won me over. Our guide, Marco, shared the story of its creation in such an engaging way that I appreciated the treat even more. The market and bakery visits were equally delightful. This is a must-do for food lovers.

Great Combination of Culture and Eating

My partner and I always seek out food tours when we travel, and this one is among the best we’ve tried. Chiara’s storytelling brought the city’s medieval streets to life. We especially enjoyed the beer-and-pretzel break, which felt wonderfully authentic. The pacing of food stops was perfect.

Mozart, Markets, and the Best Dumplings Ever

Giulia was a wonderful guide—friendly, funny, and full of knowledge. She brought Salzburg’s personality to life as we wandered the Old City and sampled everything from street food to the most tender pork at a family-run restaurant. My husband is still talking about the dumplings. The three hours flew by.

Exceeded Expectations—Especially the Pastries!

This was my first time booking a LivTours experience, and it exceeded every expectation. The bakery stop was my favorite—the baker even let us peek into the back room where the sweet breads were cooling. I also enjoyed the balance between walking and eating; it never felt rushed. Would happily book again.

Authentic Salzburg at Its Best

This tour felt genuinely local in the best way possible. We spoke with vendors, sampled traditional foods, and learned how these dishes shaped everyday life in Salzburg. The handcrafted Mozartkugel was a revelation—so much better than the mass-market ones. A very satisfying and informative three hours.
