Brilliant Mix of Adventure and Learning

My nephews were fascinated by stories of gladiators training for combat. They spent half the day pretending to be warriors! The preserved bath houses were surprisingly beautiful and one of my personal highlights.

Kids Loved the Archaeology Activities

The highlight for my twins was learning how archaeologists carefully excavate the site—Davide even let them try a mini “dig” activity in their book. They proudly showed off their prize stickers afterward. LivTours truly understands families.

Engaging, Educational, and Surprisingly Fun!

I booked this private Pompeii tour for my daughter, who normally zones out on historical tours, but not this time! Marco kept her engaged with clues and little challenges around the ruins. We were all amazed by the preserved frescos inside the domus. A top-notch family experience.

A Wonderful Blend of Mythology and History

Our guide wove stories about Venus, Jupiter, and other Roman gods into the tour, which kept our teen daughter engaged. She especially enjoyed seeing the temples and hearing how Pompeiians lived their daily lives. The whole experience felt immersive.

Fun, Friendly, and Very Informative

As a teacher, I appreciated how the guide layered information so the kids understood without feeling overwhelmed. The section on Roman bath rituals was particularly interesting for the whole family. LivTours continues to impress us.

Made Pompeii Understandable for Younger Kids

I was worried my 6-year-old wouldn’t follow along, but Elena adapted the tour perfectly. She showed him the mosaic floors and let him imagine life as a little Roman boy. The whole experience felt warm and very personalized.

The Activity Booklet Was a Huge Hit

LivTours clearly put thought into designing the exercises—it kept my kids motivated and excited. We especially enjoyed spotting the marks from ancient carts carved into the stone roads. It truly felt like traveling back in time.

Great Energy and Kid-Friendly Explanations

Chiara kept our 9-year-old engaged with stories about Roman food and the ancient “snack bars” scattered throughout the city. The bakery with the donkey paths was a favorite stop. We left feeling educated and entertained.

Informative Without Being Overwhelming

As a couple traveling without kids, we still found this tour format refreshing and interactive. The explanation of the Forum’s layout helped us picture Pompeii as a bustling port town. We appreciated the calm pacing and priority access.

Our Favorite Tour in Southern Italy

The myths and legends around the temples fascinated our preteen son. He completed every puzzle in the booklet before we even left the Forum. The backdrop of Vesuvius made for incredible photos.
