Wonderful guide and an unforgettable Colosseum experience

We had a fantastic experience on this tour, and a big part of that was our guide, Stefania. Although this was advertised as a semi-private tour, it ended up being just my husband and me, which made it feel like our own private tour. Stefania was incredibly personable, kind, and enthusiastic, and her warmth really came through. She frequently offered to take photos of us throughout the tour, which was such a thoughtful touch and something we genuinely appreciated. This wasn’t my first visit to the Colosseum, but it was my husband’s, and he absolutely loved it. He was fascinated by the history and really enjoyed Stefania’s explanations. While I couldn’t always remember which details were new to me versus what I had learned on my previous visit, it was clear that Stefania was knowledgeable and passionate about sharing Rome’s history. Being able to stand on the arena floor was definitely worthwhile. The only thing I wish we had done differently was book the underground tour as well, but that just gives us another reason to come back to Rome! If you’re looking for a well-organized tour with an excellent guide, I would absolutely recommend this one. We left with great memories and some wonderful photos thanks to Stefania.

This was an amazing tour of the Colisseum by an amazing guide - Giulia! Arena level is definitely worth the cost. Giulia had exceptional knowledge and personal engagement. It was great to truly skip a long entry line. We highly recommend!
